"I love this café. First up, it’s 100% vegan and gluten free. They serve the best gluten free bread I’ve tasted in the UK, it’s sourdough style. Great selection of healthy salads, home cooked soups or freshly baked GF cakes. Great coffees and kombuchas on offer. Costly decor. Only downside are there seem to be lots of people who arrive with their laptops and nurse a coffee for hours, but maybe it’s just the time of day I’ve visited. Highly recommended! FYI parking in the area is pretty much impossible."

A good find in an 'up and coming ' stretch of the canal. Great fresh juices (especially the green ones) and the baba salad was tasty and well thought out. They also have creative BBQ options.

MOTHER is in a great location on the Hackney Wick canal. I really enjoyed the food (I got the curry and my boyfriend got the nachos). I had a great smoothie as well. It was a nice day, so we sat outside with a great view of the canal!

They forgot my order, made out there was a delay in the kitchen, but they had to check again what I ordered. Then they didn't give me what I ordered, no apology. Food was bland, no seasoning or dressing. Also the dirty uncleaned toilet is right next to the open kitchen. Disgusting. Won't be coming back
