Mühlstein - Menu

The restaurant is set in an old building with a nice courtyard. The dishes are modern and very well prepared. Great staff and winelist.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner combined with bright service and just fabulous ambience. The Fireplace was on and made the welcome even warmer. Perfect place for business and private visits.

We have been there several times now and it has always been special. The location is very romantic and the menues are excellent. The chef also offered spontaniously a special menue for kids which was not on the menue. Excellent...

Although the menu was not very long, the offering was complete (meat, fish, vegetarian, ... ). Everything was freshly cooked and tasted gorgeous. We sat in the yard on a very warm late summer evening and were served by very friendly and funny waiters. All in all a perfect experience!

So much for Blauer Aff(read my review of same), this place should be number one in Bensheim. We were a table of nine and all of us enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere, the service, the decor are all tops. Good parking on premises. Place is super clean. Menu provides broad and good selection. Not your farmers' menu, but not pretentious either. Tried this place strictly on trip advisor and I was completely satisfied . What great old building creating an atmosphere that is very nice . The service was very kind to a non local . But the highlight of this plAce is the food . I had the venison steak and it was best I think I have ever had . The vegetables and potatoes were also excellent . No question , I recommend this place and will be back again .

Visited while on business in Bensheim. The setting is great and the restaurant is lovely inside. 3 of us ate starters & a main course each and whilst the food was very good some of the combinations were a bit strange. This is not a typical traditional German restaurant and it offers some very interesting dishes. Service was OK & it wasn't too expensive but certainly more pricey than a typical German restaurant - EUR 120 for 3 of us with drinks. I will definitely return as its very good Vs the other local eateries.

This former antiques show room was changed some years ago to a restaurant and is tastefully and comfortably furnished and appointed. A very pleasant atmosphere but quite a large area and so for me, lacking in Gemütlichkeit' or intimacy which for most people may be...irrelevant. The welcome is very warm and efficiently handled. There is a table d'hote menu together with the limited a la Carte menu. This limited menu is quite a good idea, allowing the kitchen to concentrate on doing a few dishes, but doing them well.
