"We arrived at Mumtaz on the recommendation of our boss and they did not disappoint. Mumtaz, first of all, is like a palace. Arches, mirrored walls, columns: a true gem. They serve pints of Cobra and delicious Indian cuisine that is not too spicy but not bland either. I recommend getting one of the two tasting menus (we got both!), which will give you a mixed tandoori grill, tikka masala, naan, basmati rice, spicy Indian meatballs, and a selection of curry vegetables. And for a relatively good deal, London standards at least. It may not be the most authentic or daring Indian restaurant, but if you are looking for soul-warming food, some beers, and good laughs with your friends in a relaxed setting, Mumtaz is the place to go!"

I recently organized a group dinner here. all the dishes were beautiful. my mums honey lambs were especially good! the food came to the tables. like the fact that as well as eating the decor is Indian themes! would recommend.

Excellent quality north Indian/Mughalai Indian food with good diversity of dishes. Flat breads are all freshly prepared and have a fresh from the oven taste. Nice ambience too. Clean and well maintained toilets. The place was not too crowded for lunch either, probably because there isn't a whole lot of parking space nearby. Probably gets crowded for dinner. Good standard of service seen the two times I've been there.
