"We arrived at the mountain of the river in a rainy day of the end of October of the fruit of a detour on the road to find it in works on our way to the pool that was our planned destiny. We didn't know about the existence of this people. We were surprised by its medieval design and the imposing silhouette of the castle, so we decided to enter the village. After crowning the village we went to the castle and had drinks in the cafeteria. We were announced that the restaurant would open to them and that it had to be reserved. I will never be very happy to have made the decision to wait and have lunch in the castle. It is a restaurant of high cuisine, of abundant rations, of very good quality raw material, of very reasonable prices and where we were attended by two very professional young, of good to see, attentive and very good treatment. I was very positively surprised by the leg of the lamb in the oven. very delicious, served whole, baked in its juice, with a touch of herbs and potatoes to the baker. I have many grilled vegetables and also the magnificent medallion only for the calf, which is very rich and extraordinary in its quality and invoice. I loved desserts, especially cheesecake. to drink wine from the area, from the saw of salamanca, red limestone of the rufette variety. I never thought we ate so well in such an isolated place. a memorable day."

Fuimos al castillo y fue una sorpresa encontrar esta fantástica terraza en el patio de los brazos. Ibamos a lanzar una caña y al final nos quedamos a comer raciones. muy buena calidad a precios razonables. el salón tiene otro menú.

Fantastico !! The location is so nice and amazing the surroundings are so beatiful so only to get here is a joy for soul and mind. When you enter the Castle is like going back in time 4 500 years . The food is tradional modern and very tasty. The menus are very good in price to . I strongly recomend a visit if you are in the area .

Fuimos siguiendo las recomendaciones de la ruta del vino de la Sierra de Francia y ha sido un acierto. Montemayor es un pueblo muy bonito, donde hay artesanos de la cestería. Desde hace 6 años han habilitado un restaurante dentro del Castillo. Es una maravilla. El personal es muy amable y te aconsejan muy bien. La cocina es de la zona, pero elaborada. Todo está muy bueno, incluidos los postres. Recomiendo la torrija.
