"We waited just over 25 minutes before being offered a drink, just as we’d decided to leave. The couple next to us said that the food was worth waiting for but our experience was mixed. The mixed pakora stared was good the Indian salad, heavy with red kidney beans and cumin not to our taste. The raita was also thick and we’d have preferred more cucumber and mint, neither of which were discernible in this dish. The lamb madras was good, not overly spiced, a touch ascerbic but I enjoyed it with both the buttery pilau rice and the plain rice which were both good. The vegetable curry however was disappointing. It just looked like a plate of sauce, did contain runner beans, soft onions and maybe some peppers but wasn’t what we expected. The plain nan was very nice, soft and freshly cooked. It was Sunday night so not much choice and maybe there are better dishes available here. For those of you brought up on UK curries and especially those from the Midlands balti-belt, re-set your expectations, maybe avoid the vegetable dishes and you could have an enjoyable but different meal. Find a quiet night and your service experience may also be better than ours"

First time at namaste and won’t be my last. Gréât service that you can expect from Bollywood. Fabulous food, loved the beef tikka masala, garlic naan. The new location is beautiful and just a min up from the main st.

Delicious food beautifully presented, with great service. We really enjoyed every dish. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even spoke English. We visited for an evening meal, and we look forward to visiting again at lunchtime one day soon :

Went here after reading good reviews but ended up being very disappointed. Warm welcome and prompt service bu downhill after that. Ordered popadoms and a starter which have always been served separately in other restaurants but these came together with no pickles or dips for the popadoms, after we attracted the waiters attention he brought these to us. The onion bhajees were very doughy and not very good. Then our main courses arrived one of which was not what we ordered so we were left with one serving, our rice and naan bread whilst they went to make the correct dish. These were all on cold plates/dishes so we shared the one main that we had and when the second arrived we had to share that...
