"I am proud to find these “hole-in-the-wall” facilities. a cozy and true mum and pop shop. they can not expect great things from this place as they approach it from the front, but they would be wrong about eating and they would miss what I think is an authentic Italian experience. I knew they were closed at 6 o'clock, so I quickly went there to eat with enough time before I close. arrived at 5:25PM (on Sunday), there were local Italian families just leaving the restaurant. I took this as a good sign of local approval and authenticity. the owners seemed a little surprised to see that an American comes, or perhaps a little concerned about the proximity to the closing time. yet they welcomed me and I ordered the roasted otopus, bruschetta, pistachio ricotta tart (for dessert), and coffee. all these dishes were excellent. the sauce made the dish really with the roasted otopus. they will notice that the dessert I have chosen is not on the menu and I think they can turn through some options. I had actually asked for tiramisu, but I was informed that only the pistazit ricotta tart was available. it tasted as great as it looked. I might want the taste of a pistachio kanoli. the coffee was also excellent and in the typical Italian style and in the quantity – what we would simply call an espresso in the usa. this place seems to be really proud and is known for its seafood, so I would probably try to make a larger seafood option next time."

"Honestly, very disappointing experience: ...octopus appetizer (frozen) at a cost of 12 euros! It was served to us on a dessert plate with no more than 12/13 small pieces of tentacles cut into small pieces and not particularly tasty. My colleague took a squid (even the frozen one) at a cost of 15 euros and I took a chicken cutlet...a side dish of courgettes with scapece scarves without salt and with very little vinegar...the friatielli good.....1 glass of house wine total 44 euros....!!! honestly a bit too much considering the fact that I am a regular customer.... perhaps the excess turnout that the place is having is producing excessive commercialization especially of the quality of the raw materials......I'm sorry but you are very disappointed!!!! "food for life restaurant pizza is located near the shopping center the pines afragola (na). the room has a single large room with a large number of tables on the kitchen where you can see how all the dishes are prepared. the restaurant has a very wide menu: you can choose between meat, fish, first dishes, pizzas and sandwiches, therefore a menu suitable for all the gouves and all the possible desires. we ordered as an appetizer of the cuts and cheeses where we served bruschettes with cream of violet potatoes and zucchini, really good. among the pizzas available I ordered a white with pesto and yellow and red cherry tomatoes with ricotta filling cornice: really great from my point of view. even the sandwiches taken by my friends seemed great, especially with a large number of potatoes nearby. in my opinion the only written note is the final account: It is still true that the provision of so many different dishes has a cost, however the price of wine and the final account for six person had to be about thirty euro lower. excellent service, anti-Covid rules respected by all waiters."

"Good morning. I rarely criticize but here! I had a plate of pasta with a meat stew simmered for 6 hours!! At the service, a pathetic plate of uncooked legs after 20 minutes of waiting and above all zero meat. Just a very acidic tomato sauce. The plate leaves full, which surprises no one!
