"Awful. Waited an hour to be served mushy samosas which I couldn’t eat. After an hour and a half the mains arrived… rice was stone cold and my Bhuna was cold and tasteless. They offered to microwave it which is simply appalling. We’re not informed on booking that you have to bring your own alcohol so we were served a warm, flat coke. No apology for their service, waiters nowhere to be seen. Our waiter was beyond miserable. Another table of 2 people managed to finish a bottle and a half of wine before their mains arrived. DO NOT GO HERE. AWFUL!!!! Saturday night ruined as we then just went home as this place ruined our moods. Everyone in the restaurant were sat on their phones looking very bored."

Terrible experience. Ordered to take away all was fine until I took a fork full and noticed a wire in my mouth. Disgusting.

The restaurant took my money through delivery service but then cancelled my order because they claimed 3 miles is too far. Now I won't be able to have any tea. View menu

The meal was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The Naan breads were particularly noteworthy - they were huge, so you definitely don't need one per person.

2 hours for delivery, could’ve made my own in the time. Pointless, save your money and just order off one of the chain websites (Deliveroo etc). I had to phone after 1.5 hours, theyd probably forgot the order, not even an apology View menu

We have been patrons of The Naz for years, enjoying meals in the restaurant and ordering takeout. Recently, we placed an order through their website and were informed that our food would arrive within 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the food did not arrive on time. After calling the restaurant, we were told that they were waiting for the driver to return. An hour and a half later, our food finally arrived, but it was cold and we did not receive an apology. We were very disappointed with the service. In contrast, when we ordered from Zafrani this week, there was a slight delay but they kindly included onion bhajis as a gesture of goodwill.

"Hearing about a traditional fish and chip shop in Prestwich, complete with a restaurant and bar, and cooking in beef-dripping with the option for vegetable oil (call to confirm vegetable oil availability), I was compelled to check it out. Upon entering the shop, I found myself in the bar area, with access to the restaurant located upstairs. The bar was furnished with tables, chairs, and stools for those wishing to enjoy a drink or avoid the stairs. It is encouraging to see young people engaged in the fish and chip shop trade, potentially leading to more traditional establishments in the future. The cod, although slightly smaller than expected, was delicious and cooked to perfection. The chips were among the best I’ve had in a long time. The pea fritters, black pudding fritters, and tartare sauce were also excellent. In-house pies were available as well, so I sampled the cheese and onion and meat and potato varieties and can recommend both. There is parking available across the street and on-street. However, the opening hours might not suit those looking for a lunchtime meal, as at the time of this review, the hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and closed on Sunday and Monday.
