"The standard menu is manageable (which I don't see as a disadvantage at all) and is supplemented with a special menu with seasonal dishes. The food is good and the portion sizes are appealing. In terms of price, in my opinion we are at the upper end here. Unfortunately the service is a bit mixed. Attention varies greatly depending on who is serving you. Since the tables are very close to each other, it is difficult to have a conversation in peace. A plus is certainly the large terrace where you can sit in the summer."

Great restaurant! Great wine list, but especially the rarities at reasonable prices from the boss's cellar! Be sure to ask about mature wines, it's worth it!

You feel welcome and can choose a wide variety of dishes from a clear menu. The service is attentive, the food is very good. The ambience in the old factory-style Neumühle is very pleasant. A small drawback is the volume, when there are 6 people at the table, only those opposite can understand something from each other, it is rather loud.

The Neumuehle is very convenient for the train station and Ibis hotel in Baar. If you're staying in Baar it's a fair choice to eat or as a bar, if ultimately not really inspiring. In good weather you can sit outside at the front or back. The menu is quite varied and I'd recommend the Thai curries or the duck massaman curry tasty but not authentic!

We ate here with a group of 7 people and it was absolutely delicious! At lunch there were around 10 dishes to choose from and most of them had the pork schnitzel a la Viennese style. It was a large portion and we were all really full afterwards. We also had the nut salad and a few also had the mixed salad. The salads were extremely good! I don't know what was in the sauce but I ate every last drop of it with the bread. Very nice traditional Swiss restaurant!
