"I put "fast food" in quotes, as it is fast, but that doesn't mean that it's frozen or not fresh. Noppakao is a Thai imbiss, or snack bar, with 4 or 5 stools set up at a bar, behind which one woman cooks, another does prep work like slicing superfresh chicken breast, and a third, the owner, collects the cash and serves the dishes. All the staff is Thai. There are a couple of tiny tables with stools as well. We had some ordinary spring rolls and super-spicy panang curry tofu and veggies, plus a Singha, for a grand total of about 11 euros. The vast majority of customers come here for take-away. You can specify the level of spiciness, as the Germans as a whole can't take spicy at any level. But if you specify spicy, you'd better be prepared for it. I asked for one level below "Thai spicy", and it was pretty darn spicy. They have an English menu, which is nice."
