"Two friends and I were planning to visit the nearby Fleet Air Arm Museum but wanted to have breakfast first. One of my friends discovered the Cafe on Google, so we decided to meet there at 9am. We arrived just as they were opening and were greeted warmly. Our orders were promptly taken and our hot teas arrived soon after. All three of us ordered the breakfast which included fried bread and extra toast. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back again the next time we are in Yeovil."

Found this cafe while visiting Somerset from Kent. Great variety of vegan food and plenty for the price. Visited 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Very friendly staff.

I had a fantastic evening on December 15th, 2022 at a Christmas meal. The food was exceptional, the staff were delightful, and the night was made even better by being surrounded by wonderful friends.

The breakfast at this restaurant was fantastic. We ordered a full English breakfast and a customized dish that catered to specific dietary needs, and both were incredibly delicious. The staff was patient, knowledgeable, and provided all the information we needed. The meal was also very reasonably priced.

First time visiting and we will definitely return next time we visit Yeovil. I had the standard breakfast that came with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 tomatoes, sausage, beans, fried bread and toast whilst my husband the full monty (pictured) we both had a juice each and out child has toasted teacake. The price for all was a little over £22. View menu

I found the staff very welcoming and friendly. They were knowledgeable and helpful with our questions about the menu. Nothing was too much trouble. The menu is massive, really something for everyone. You can get an all day breakfast, veganpot roast or a whole roast chicken dinner! Or just a cake or a sandwich. One of my favourite places to take friends. Speedy service too so ideal for a work day lunch treat.

My Wife and I popped in on the off chance for lunch. We weren't disappointed. Great staff and amazing food. They managed to get us in on one of the tables. I had their festive Xmas club sandwich, which came with fries and a side salad. I struggled to finish it, as there was so much. The price was also very reasonable for the portion size. We will know to book next time, as they were extremely busy and had to turn some others away. All the food coming out looked fab and all the staff were very attentive. Great job, we will be back.

"Our first visit to The George Inn at Donyatt, we've drove by it time's going to other places and it always looks such a nice place. We decided to have lunchtime meal there to celebrate our anniversary and weren't disappointed, beamed ceilings, log burner and brick fireplace, farm tools and pictures on the walls cosy and oldie worldy with friendly locals just how we like our pubs. The staff and owner were really friendly, polite and chatted to us as if we locals from the village, the waitresses were smartly dressed, polite attentive always smiling, cheerful, charming and chatty. Even the chef nodded and smiled to us the couple of times he walked through and the bar and table areas were spotlessly clean. Our meals starters and mains were absolutely fantastic and amazing as was the presentation, they were hot good amounts of food with tender succulent meats and vegetables and the mashed potatoes were creamy smooth and light and have never had better. There's a good selection of beers and I had local ale which was amazing, clear, cool with a nice head and tasted like nectar. We will definitely be coming back soon and we can definitely recommend this pub, restaurant and hotel to family, friends, neighbours and anyone. A very big well done and thank you to the owners, all the staff especially the chef, please please please keep this pub the way it is, it's an absolute treasure and gem of a place to find. YOU ALL MADE OUR ANNIVERSARY VERY SPECIAL Especially in these times when a majority of local village pubs are closing down and being turned into houses or flats, we must all support our local village pubs like The George Inn."
