Ordered a breakfast bap. Service was terrible. The larger lady was very blunt. I went up to change my order from dine in to take an away order as they were taking a bit longer than expected, but they were busy I didn't say anything other than can it be a take away and she then preceeded to tell me there very busy there do the best they can quite loudly so most of the other customers could hear. Cheerful happy people, but unfortunately my Eggs Benedict was Waterlogged, I cut into it and it promptly flooded my plate with water... was a little put off by this, but once I'd used to the tissues that came with the cutlery to dry it up, the eggs were actually quite nice, mum's welsh rarebit could have done with a little longer as it had unmelted cheese under the top layer, she enjoyed the bacon though! My hot choc was also pretty good, but it got cold whilst we waited for food to arrive, if we revisit Hythe again, I'd probably just come back for another hot chocolate View menu
