"For my main course, I had the vegetable cake, which was quite enjoyable, although it was served with chips instead of mash. While the chips were good, this wasn’t mentioned when I placed my order. The accompanying vegetables were tender and cooked well. For dessert, there were two choices: a zesty sundae or chocolate cake, but I simply wanted a coffee. Unfortunately, they didn’t offer any milk alternatives. This seems to be a common issue I've encountered in restaurants and cafes recently—lots of vegan food options but a lack of plant-based milk when requested. This was quite disappointing. Overall, I would rate The Old Irish Harp 2.5 stars. They make an effort, and it’s great that they have a vegan menu with a variety of options, but they need to address some fundamental details, like providing plant-based milk for their coffee."

It's no longer the same. Now it feels like cafeteria food from elementary school.

Food was okay for the price. They had some good lunch time deals. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Great pub and eating house. Very nicely decked out inside. Great food. We had lunch and the sharing plate on the menu. It has a great garden and a small covered area for eating. Very chilled.

Attended a family birthday where I can only say the staff were fantastic, special mention to Sarah. She was brilliant. Everyone had a great meal, food was excellent. Will definitely be going back! Proper Irish hospitality. See you soon

We dropped in on the off chance and they found us a table. So glad they did, the food was delicious. We had the pate starter, scampi and chicken and chorizo flat bread. The lady who served us was so lovely but I can't remember her name, Julie or Tracey (sorry)

My family and I visited this restaurant today, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were fantastic—they truly went above and beyond for us. Although the pub was quite busy when we arrived, we were able to find a table. We will definitely be coming back again!

Took my friends from Warwickshire here and they really enjoyed it. So went back with my hubby for a roast dinner Sunday and it was absolutely gorgeous. Food is really good quality and lovely atmosphere. Had a really good waitress too and I didn’t have to keep asking for attention. Makes a nice change.

Polite efficient waitress, efficient but not intrusive. We had 5 different dishes for our group of 6 and they were all well prepared and enjoyed by all. Puddings were also delicious. Only complaint, no biscoff crumbs found in the sundae. A small down side, our table area was badly lit (my elderly mother had trouble reading the menu) all the more disappointing when it seemed all the other tables not all occupied had plenty of light. This didn't distract from our lovely meal tho.

Lovely pub with a great choice of food although quite a few items were not available that evening. Our drinks order was taken within good time but then we waited such a long time for them we were definitely more than ready to order food and gave our order to him. Our waitress was wonderful and really pleasant but had a lot of tables to serve so not as attentive as expected. I have to say the lamb shank was delicious, so very tender and the gravy and mash perfect...would visit again just for this meal! Husband and son's steaks were sightly overdone to how they wanted them so consider that if you order steaks. Puddings were delicious but again not everything on menu available even though we bo...

"I came across this place after reading the high number of positive reviews (also the 1 negatiw seemed to pick up at stealing! and thought it would be the perfect place to take the family for a decent evening meal! the first thing we noticed was the size of the parking lot, which has plenty of parking, so already a big positive for those who need to drive out of the far away. the size of the restaurant is quite large and really well decorated inside with an authentic feel to it. the service was really 2. to none, the personal was really friendly and was really helpful by looking into what some of the dishes were like. So we ordered our dishes and soon enough we had dinner on our table, which was a free appetizer! in addition, after our first course another round free ones arrived! so for now, nothing but praise for the place! So for beginners we had the chicken momo and vegetarian pakado’s that were amazing! the momos above all, something I never had before, it was so light and full of fresh aromen with a beautiful kick to him and the sose that accompanied it was perfect! for the net we had the gurkhali thali, which consisted of a lamb dish, lens court and a vegetarian dish with rice and puri. I enjoyed both the cute dishes, but that lame threw us all away! it was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned so not too hot (not that I hot dishes, but the taste was immense! it was just so delicious and if I was back to visit, I would definitely order it from myself because it was so good! to go along the food, I enjoyed a beautiful glass Indian shiraz that I would never come by, so was very impressed to find it here in wednesbury! the only thing that surprised me was that for a Friday night they had only a few groups with so many other tables free! I couldn't get my head around why eating, authenticity, service, ambiente, decor. everything was 10/10, so it would be a crying scandal if this place doesn't take long as it really is worth visiting! I'm sure there'll be a visit enough to get the people back here, because I'm sure I'll go back soon!"
