"My wife and I visited the beautiful city of Goslar while touring Germany and spent a day strolling through the amazing architectural delights. At lunch time we came upon this restaurant in a quiet street and intended to have a snack. The restaurant is small but very well laid out and beautifully appointed with comfortable booths and a raised gallery to one side. The menu was very inviting and despite our earlier intentions proved so appealing we proceeded to enjoy a 3 course meal. Our host, the son of the owner, was very attentive and helped us to choose when our limited knowledge of german failed us. With glasses of wine our bill was just over £30. To cap a pleasant meal we were given complimentary glasses of ouzo!We would not hesitate in recommending this establishment and in particular a perfect venue for a romantic dinner for two."

Decent food, quick and polite service. Free salad with main course. Main course was brought very quickly, seems they precook and microvawe.

I absolutely love the greek potatoes (Kretanische Kartoffeln) in this restaurant. The food is really good and the staff is very friendly we always had an amazing time here. In the end you always get a shot of Uzo which is very traditional. View menu

Nice, not to overdecorated, restaurant with good food for appropriate prices. We hadn't planned our dinner and we where very lucky that they could offer a table for 6 Persons. The menue is typically greek food and there are parking spaces arround.

This is a nice choice on the inner edge of town, particularly useful if you're staying across the road at the Golden Krone. Lovely staff and great food - but beware if you're used to London portions at Greek restaurants - everything here is huge, including starters!

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel which had no restaurant. We went in 'on spec' and they fitted us in although it was very busy, so I advise to book beforehand. The food was very good and portions plenty. The only downfall was when we came to pay , only to be told they do not take foreign cards even credit cards, only ones issued by German banks. Luckily we had cash to pay the bill. I found this a let down in a place where there are a lot of tourists and also from other countries. View menu

This Greek restaurant is a little out of the main town centre on a quiet street. Service was good, and friendly. The atmosphere is cosy and convivial, with many local people dining. Portions are substantial, so beware of not ordering too much! The food is not very Greek; the Greek salad was very tasty but more German than Greek; a dish of shrimps in a creamy brandy sauce was good but again, not especially Greek. Not that it particularly matters, if you are looking for a good night out with plenty of food and good wine.

Being Turkish by birth, I believe I can pass judgement on Greek, Turkish, Mediterranean, Middle-Eastern, etc. food. We went in here not expecting much, to be honest. I can easily say, however, that the dinner we had at Olympia was some of the best we've ever had. It was divine. It was so good I wanted to cry with joy. The dolma, the grilled peppers with tzatziki, the lamb chops and lamb grill, accompanied with retsina and topped off with a liquor shot... simply amazing. If you are in Goslar, have at least one meal here. In fact, have all your meals here.

"Kann leider nur 3Sterne geben . war heute am07.12.24 zum Mittag hier. Ambiente gut .
