"not far from the quirligen potsdamer place it is located, the osteria caruso. Long before a planned berlintripp we had informed ourselves in the internet, it should be Italian, central and as good as possible, and so we found ourselves here. on the internet page that they were with great stars that were already here, we were here now, but we did not feel that welcome. but the series. they don't think to find such a beautiful osteria behind the façade of such a little inviting house. in the interior are brought by lots of wood and brick the Mediterranean flair large into the house, they find beautiful covered tables, a well-stocked stairs, various bottles of Italian wine, it smells spicy after the frit and olive oil, they can see guests before well-stocked tellers. short: it makes itself a great joy to fly, which after a cool gruß then quickly flew. we have our place and then first: nothing. and also remained the only table that were not like all other broth and oliven. the card draws very good sounding dives to travel good, besides three weeping in bottles stands a part of a wine card that does not exist at all. so nothing with the choice when they look at the rarities on a board. Okay, let's take one of the two red ones. first the appetizers of the house, 15,50€ as main dish the papardelle mare e monti (15,50€ and the tagliatelle alla campagnese (11,50€). when the appetizer came, we had a great result, but still no brot. then it came up and now we could enjoy. really. perfect carpacchio with good olive oil, very good vinnato, also kaprese. the chef understands his craft. also the main dishes were well advised visually. While I was very satisfied with the papardelle, there were accusations against. the pasta had already been tasted that it was homemade and fresh, but it lacked salt. in combination with fresh tomatoes there was then tastefully no real contrast and after-salting also helped little. but I enjoyed all the sauce, barkfilets and very good garnel, and we come back when we are famous and recognized."

Delicious pasta and good pizza at local prices... The staff (family operation) is very nice. Sometimes it takes something, especially when it is very full (a coronam and hopefully also post coronam in the sense of surgery), because this has even local history regarding its guests. Nice restaurant, value for money is right. Ambience is also nice and partly designed with nice details. The staff was also very nice and attentive. The food also came very quickly and was delicious. It is now also pointed out that there are sometimes internet problems and it may therefore happen that payment by card does not work. I just mentioned this because a lot of people have complained about it in their reviews.

Surprise of the evening! We were so hungry on a Saturday night at Rush Hour and were almost desperate where we could eat. Osteria wasn't our first choice, but we're glad we left. We had a pretty bad place next to the kitchen door, but that was all we can complain about. The staff was so happy at work. It was really funny watching her. The food was excellent and the portions enough! I had a pizza with Gogonzola and Spinat. Rare I ate such a delicious pizza dough. I would have ordered the pizza dough. My accompaniment had the lasagna. He was also happy and very satisfied. We like to come back.
