A welcoming tavern that offers traditional Roman dishes, presented and served with friendly grace. Tasty appetizers are coratella with artichokes and meatballs in sauce, while gricia and saltimbocca are a little less convincing. Incredibly good food in a friendly family business, for a very good price. All dishes are cooked with love and craftsmanship. The two of us paid €55 for drinks (beer, water schnapps) 2x Primi 3x antipasti. We didn't even manage to do a primi and took it with us. The ambience isn't the best, but if you really want to eat well, no one cares. Thank you for this meal and the evening. Really great to still feel real devotion and love and not have to pay €80 for MistoFrito from the refrigerated section in a cold, heartless tourist shed!

Rather sparse menu, but the dishes are prepared with a certain care. The owner's insistence in offering dishes that he did not appear to want to consume is annoying, the intent is evidently to increase the bill, given that for example for the starters half portions are often offered several times which cost 7 euros instead of the 10 for full portions. If you don't like spicy cuisine, avoid the second courses. The owner is friendly, kind but this insistence is out of place. The bathroom has no key and from the sink tap does not come out with water.
