"visitata dopo diversi anni, il luogo locale all'inizio del viale cipresso che conduce a Bolgheri, di memoria carducciana, si trova in un luogo suggestivo e romantico. la cucina, rispetto ad allora, è diventata un po' più raffinata e pretenziosa. il cibo è ottimo, con ottime materie prime e trattato nella preparazione. Buona carne. servizio gentile, professionale e attento. una buona rosa. un po' salato il conto: oltre 60€ a persona."

"We had been recommended this place (amongst others) by the owner of the apartment we were renting locally. The setting is beautiful and relaxed. You eat outside on a terrace (covered or open completely to the elements) amongst the olive trees. Our teenage kids wandered...off to explore after ordering and were found chilling in a hammock slung between the trees. There are fairy lights and lots of lanterns everywhere that add to the magical atmosphere of the place. Don't go though if you get irritated by kids eating in restaurants. There were many Italian families eating here with their young kids and lots of children running around amongst the trees. But, whereas anywhere else I might find this annoying, in this setting, it was charming! Our waitress could not speak a word of English but was absolutely delightful patient and attentive. The food was of a very good standard. All local, traditional dishes, but not a huge choice for vegetarians. Wine was excellent too. This is not a cheap night out. We paid over 200 Euros for four, although we all had three courses plus wine. But it was well worth it for a special night and is considered by the whole family as one of the highlights of our Tuscany holiday."

"Che dire, un'esperienza gastronomica eccellente! Siamo andati a pranzo in due persone, la camera interna è molto bella e accogliente, una bella atmosfera intima con il tocco di classe della candela acceso sul tavolo. Il menù offre una vasta scelta tra primi, secondi e antipasti, tutti naturalmente orientati verso l'uso degli ingredienti tipici delle nostre terre ma comunque con innovazione e immaginazione. Tra quello che abbiamo preso, tutto grande, do un voto di eccellenza al mio piatto di tartare di chianina con pecorino fuso. C'è anche una vasta scelta di vini rossi e bianchi, con bottiglie pregiate. Proprietario molto gentile e disponibile. Un'esperienza da ripetere."

"location we are in the center of Bolgheri, but what are we talking about? nice and cozy local/bottega with many products to buy. excellent raw materials wisely used as excellent wine paper. in this place you make a superlative research experience: cheeses, meats and Tuscan traditions are found in the dishes of the chef. very professional staff, prepared and available. some sin at the service risked to blur the experience, but the kindness of the lady (propriety put everything together. Good."

"the first refreshment that is located at the entrance of the center of Bolgheri, beautiful location, a little chaotic we were Saturday at lunch). we ate some crostini and the subolios as appetizer, pici salsiccia and porcini and tagliatelle to the porcini, I must say good but not tasty. service with some forgetfulness probably because of the many people to serve. the price obviously makes the wine. to try again a day with more calm."
