"found very nice lunch place osteria quattro pass at varenna 23.5.2022. this the best meal we had, getting better everyday every dish was good grilled octopus excellent very tasty, tender great smoke grill flavours ravioli with swordfish was fabulous squidink pasta among the best pasta this trip alongside the raw scampi pasta yesterday at trattoria santo stefano in lenno the beef tartare not the usual chopped with onions peppers capers etc but chunky beef cuts..very sweet nice not sinewy fibrous.. the plume Iberia was excellent flavourful well marbled charred the cheese crusted beef fillet medium rare was as best as could be..lean not our favourable cut..sweet tasty..iberico trumps this dish though in comparison"

Top place in Varenna. Servers were super busy, but very helpful. The location is wonderfully remote from the main train, so beautiful and peaceful. Two pasta dishes ordered, and both were excellent. Would be happy to go back.

Amazing local recipes true northern Italy. The food was exquisite! We had the fish ink Tagliolini and the lasagna. Both cook for perfection! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Niente di eccezionale! servizio essenziale, personale cortese ma a livello di quello che abbiamo ordinato....NO! le taglienti al nero di sepia arrivarono semi freddo senza sale....anche il resto non era grande che....le aspettative erano alte dal momento che siamo stati guidati dalle recensioni....compenso diciamo che è solo sfortuna!
