"all'interno dei carrugs di laigueglia, nel lungomare, c'è questo bellissimo ristorante sempre molto popolare con laigueglia. i cibi sono freschi e si mangia volentieri, qualsiasi cibo è gouty. Naturalmente, essendo una città di mare, generalmente prendiamo piatti di pesce e siamo sempre soddisfatti della qualità dei prodotti. l'ambiente è molto bello e pulito, personale cordiale. Consiglio sempre di prenotare, altrimenti, in estate, non c'è posto. i prezzi sono altini."

Most probably not the best family spot in Laigueglia. Unavailability of highchairs and lack of empathy versus children needs. Food is ok but not enough to improve the overall experience. View menu

la farina è super, le pizze molto buone (soprattutto la pasta). la cucina offre piatti semplici, tradizionali, ben cucinati e abbondanti. antonio c. a laigueglia sono da molti anni una garanzia. Bene.

Ci sono stato a fine luglio con mia moglie, l'idea di partenza era la classica pizza del sabato sera che sappiamo ottima ma abbiamo poi virato sul fritto calamari e gamberetti eccellente e per nulla unto e un primo con uno squisito sughetto di pesce. Gentile il titolare un po' inesperti i giovani. Da ritornarci

Nome altisonante .. sempre pieno e difficile da trovare posto.. quindi decido di fermarmi per un pranzo a base di pesce…. Risultato ?Sperano decisamente di meglio … il pesce non mi dava l’idea di essere fresco, il servizio nella norma nulla di così fuori dal comune. Che dire le aspettative erano altre visto il tanto clamore che il nome riscuote . Non ci tornerei anzi ! View menu

Nice place close to the seaside, the farinata is amazing, seafood pasta and seafood fries are very good but 1. on the seafood pasta there was no shrimp (does not match the description of the menu... and was made with very normal penne and frozen seafood, so overall quite disappointing when thinking about the price. 2. The portion of fritto misto looked big at first, but includes a lot of fried vegetables as well.

Total disappointment....we loved this place very much last year because of great food, very friendly staff, this time it turned to be a place where you are not welcome at all, not allowed to sit at a free table while no one comes to meet you when you arrive, the staff looks at you as if you were an enemy unexpected but true, do not recommend finally we just left after the comment that “this table is not our private table” and never mind good tips we left yesterday

"Five and three quarter years is a short time in the life of some restaurants and a roller coaster ride in others. When we first came here, it was a charming but very conventional/traditional Ligurian restaurant and we loved it. Chef Sybil Carbone became a culinary celebrity and the owners backed her passion and talent taking the restaurant in a more creative and individualistic direction. It was still true to its local roots. The revamped decor was a bit more upscale, feminine and distinctive. When Sybil heard the siren call of big cities and began spending more and more time elsewhere, her second in command, also a lady, kept the restaurant on course, but some of the creativity and buzz diminished. Now, a new, but experienced chef from Andora is at the helm. His new menu is barely dry, but seems to steer more back to the traditional side. The important point is that it is well executed, tasty and fairly priced. The desserts are excellent too. There is a shift from linen to paper place mats and napkins, perhaps a practical nod to the financial risk of a small restaurant in trying times. The wine selection is still fairly basic, but reasonable for a place with a modest price point. A reassuring continuity is the same pleasant and skillful waiter from the Sybil days. On a wet Wednesday evening in mid-October the locals are supporting the restaurant and so are we. In the heart of the budello, the restaurant still has character and charm, and more importantly, fine food."
