"We visited for a takeaway and on entering we wished we had gone to dine in. Lovely ambience and a really cosy feel to the place. We ordered ant pasta and two pizzas which were both excellent, with the anti pasta a delicious mix of good quality mozzarella, prawns, salad, pepperoni and salami and olives. The garlic and tomato pizza bread was also great. The value was astounding compared to most Italian restaurants and we will be visiting again when next in the area."

A restaurant with nice atmosphere, quick service, good food (the main thing), at an affordable price. We even got a complimentary Ammaretto to finish of our very nice meal.

Great food, nice staff. They even made me a quattro formaggi pizza, which wasn't on the menu. Everyone enjoyed the food, particularly the pizzas and home made cheesecake, tiramisu was a little disappointing but otherwise great!

We are visitors from Australia and have been staying in South Shields for a few days. We have been to this restaurant for 3 nights in a row as the food is SO GOOD. It is not just the food, it is the wonderful staff and the atmosphere. If you are in the area you have to try this restaurant.

Went here as a family to celebrate a birthday. Excellent service, great food and great company. Daughter wasn’t feeling well and had to leave part way through the meal, staff were totally unphased and allowed us to delay the main course until she returned. Despite delay food was fresh and hot. Highly recommended.
