"Restaurant that we discovered while searching the area and that did not disappoint us at all. We opted to order the house special starter: zucchini stuffed with cod with gratin cheese on a bed of pumpkin puree, they were exquisite. To share, we ordered a mixed paella, also very delicious. The only thing we didn't like was that the boys at the table were served unequally than the girls, that is something to mention (they serve less portion, we didn't understand why and it was something notable). For dessert, we ordered two slices of cheesecake and one of hazelnut cake with chocolate icing and vanilla ice cream. The place is very nice and the attention by all the waiters was impeccable. It is recommended 100% despite what is referred to with the irregular distribution of the rations. Parking: It has free parking in front of the door of the establishment Dietary restrictions: There is gluten-free bread and beer"

"Buenos platos vegetarianos. Delicioso tartar de salmón con aguacate. Falafels con humus: deliciosos. Una ensalada con queso halumi va muy bien, igual de deliciosa. Y por último, una buena sangría con vino blanco. Estuvimos en varios lugares de Mallorca y desafortunadamente algo andaba mal en todas partes. Todo es perfecto aquí. Recomiendo."

"on a February 2021 day, but with a spring temperature we went on a trip to a small village of valldemossa of the saw of vantana in mallorca. I often visit it because it gives me peace and tranquility, but when I arrived it gave me the feeling of being in a ghost town. so empty streets and quietly all closed, but still the beauty that surrounds made us live an unforgettable day. He had spoken of a restaurant called origins he loved for his kindness, but above all for the relationship of quality/price and indeed was, taking into account the strange situation that has touched us to live. "Stumbled on this place our first night in Valldemossa after our first option proved too busy a nice surprise! They serve meat and fish, but have vegetarian and vegan options on the menu (although they are not clearly marked). We had the pan con tomate (toast with tomato and olive oil) which was nice but nothing special a fine starter. The vegetable paella for the main was great though! Made with vegetable stock, full of broccoli, zucchini, capsicum and shiitake mushroom, served with a lemon wedge. Really tasty, filling, and huge portions. Valldemossa is a touristy town so the prices here are expensive everywhere, but I don’t think it wasn’t too bad given the serving sizes honestly €14.5 pp for the paella. The waitress warned us off the patatas bravas because they use yolk in the sauce. Just tell them your situation and they seem happy to help out/advise. The menu and service was in Spanish, English, or German so you have a good chance of being understood"

"A Disappointing Experience at Es Raco Des Teix! I recently visited the much-lauded Es Raco Des Teix in Deia, Mallorca, Spain, with my spouse, and I must say that our experience left a lot to be desired. Despite the hefty price tag of 600 euros, the overall quality of the meal fell far short of our expectations. In fact, we have had better and more unique dining experiences at other establishments that don't charge an arm and a leg. One of the main issues we encountered was the minuscule portion sizes. Each dish was disappointingly small, leaving us feeling unsatisfied and craving more substance. To make matters worse, some of the dishes arrived at our table cold, which significantly impacted our enjoyment of the meal. For the premium price we paid, we expected impeccably executed dishes that were both delicious and presented with artistic flair. Sadly, Es Raco Des Teix failed to deliver on this front. Another letdown was the sommelier's performance. We were looking forward to an insightful wine pairing experience, but the sommelier did not provide us with the expected level of expertise. The explanations regarding the chosen wines and their compatibility with the dishes were scarce, leaving us feeling disconnected from the overall dining experience. Surprisingly, we had a far better and more informative wine tasting experience at a local winery in the area, where the staff eagerly shared their knowledge and passion for the wines. When dining at a restaurant of this caliber, one expects a true culinary journey, complete with unique flavors, meticulous presentation, and attentive service. Unfortunately, Es Raco Des Teix fell short on all these fronts. The lack of creativity in the presentation of the dishes left us unimpressed, and the absence of detailed explanations from the waiters and sommeliers about the specificities of each dish and wine pairing was a missed opportunity. Ultimately, the exorbitant price we paid for our meal at Es Raco Des Teix did not reflect the quality or experience we received. While the restaurant may boast a Michelin star, it failed to deliver a truly memorable dining experience that justified the steep cost. I cannot help but feel that we were taken advantage of, as we have had far more satisfying and enlightening dining experiences elsewhere. Save your money and seek out a more authentic and exceptional culinary adventure elsewhere in Mallorca."
