Panevino - Menu

This was my first visit first impressions were good. Spacious with a lovely view over the river. Staff were very friendly. Linguini marina was exceptionally good perfect pasta with tomatoey sauce and plenty of seafood presentation good too. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff good atmosphere. Normally have pasta which is good but went for the Christmas menu. Starter was great but turkey was dry and over cooked. Shame as we had been looking forward to our lunch out for Christmas. Will not stop us visiting...again but will stick to Italian food.

A party of of us went for Christmas Day Lunch, from start to finish the service and food was amazing. We booked well in advance, we were not asked for a deposit or to pre order off a menu. Everything was fresh to order...and we really enjoyed. We go to this restaurant a lot and highly recommend!

Myself and my husband celebrated my birthday at Panevino last night. The food was authentic Italian and the staff were very friendly and professional. It was very busy considering it was a Tuesday night in mid January which just endorses how popular this restaurant is....We will definately be regular visitors in future, especially in the summer when you can sit outside by the river.

This must be one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited. The food is incredibly delicious, with every ingredient being fresh and high quality. I ordered the duck with porcini mushrooms and the mushroom flavor really stood out. When we visited, the restaurant wasn't too crowded so we were able to get the best table with a great view. We are thrilled to have such a great restaurant in our small town. Thank you!

Our third visit to this outstanding restaurant. This time or lunch with a disabled friend. Nothing too much trouble even changed the chair so friend could be more comfortable. A mix up with the starters ,no real ,problem,resulted in an unasked for extra starter on...the house. All food was exceptional balance of texture and flavours. We throughly enjoyed everything. Oh ..and service ...cheerful and friendly throughout. Looking forward to the warmer weather to enjoy the riverside balcony on our return.

Ohhhh Panevino Penevino!!!!!!! the food was absolutely DELICIOUS if anything my friend as well as myself were struggling to finish the food because of how good it was, The Salmon Pasta and Bruschetta and the Gamberoni UGH it was SOO GOOOD we had a outside table and the view was GORGEOUS! The customer service was amazing and everyone were always checking up on us to see if we had or needed anything. It’s definitely now no.1 on my list of Italian Restaurants, we Travelled from Bristol too and I can safely say IT WAS WORTH IT 10/10 and will be coming again very very soon. Thank you so much to the entire Panevino team for a absolutely Lush Evening, deffo will be one we will remember

We were that family, they were great. We arrived unbooked, looking for some calm from a blocked M4. Fortunately it's a big place, much bigger than it looks from the modest front, so had space even on a Saturday afternoon. We jumped on a table in the front garden, were quickly greeted by friendly staff and ordered. It was only when we went inside that we saw the lovely Riverside patio, with some tables coming available. Of course we wanted to move there. And the young staff team were very good about it. The food was good, seemed like rustic Italian food with a decent line in seafood. Pizzas were excellent and a generous size. Prices were very fair. If we're passing through Chepstow again we'l...

First positive feedback. Waiters were friendly and efficient. But food really did not get any star rating. I ordered salad. In fact I chose restaurant because of a decent salad selection. My crab salad had too much vinegar in it. Vinegar soaked beetroot not...mentioned on the menu that beetroot would be in vinegar) and highly acidic vinegarette dressing. No sign of lemon which can neutralise the effects of such high concentration of vinegar. It is usually very hard to spoil the taste of a good crab, but it was achieved. I did not feel good after the meal at all. It's not about individual intolerance to vinegar, not a matter of preference, I believe basic rules of food (I should say) preparat...
