"much fun and Italian. paolo’s is a truly Italian restaurant that is run by the family oddi, papa and sohn! the local has been serving for over 30 years, is the standard consistent and the menu is full of classic favorite spaghetti and pasta, great meat and fish and some beautiful desserts. Among the favorites are calamari fritti, trotta rina forelle, fabulous steak with pfeffer sauce, chickenermone grappa. all recommended. stefano, who runs the restaurant, is also a bit magic and makes great cartoons! his sweats are not bad either! very friendly staff and definately worth a visit, especially with good weather as they can dinate al fresco!"

What an excellent find. Just round the corner from the tube station. A warm, friendly welcome; excellent food service. We were a party of 14 nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend. X

beautiful Italian food! the staff is great, eating is delicious and it is really affordable! there are limited tabs, although booking a table is recommended. I really recommend going here when they are in park plaza royal, as it is so close to.

had a pleasure to enjoy a really tasty, skillfully designed Italian dish at several places here. l' escargot (snails) were beautiful, followed by really excellent crumbs and really roasted rosmarink artefacts. friendly management, good service and often the place is very busy with group guests.

Great, delicious, Greek food. Felt like heart warming home cooked food. Very nice staff and owner. It's brand new and there's still lots of room to work on environment and decor, but that's secondary. Also, there was some smoke coming back to the tables from the barbecue, so maybe need to invest in better air extraction.

beautiful small restaurant in ealing . today for lunch with a friend. great ambiente and wonderful service. we had some drinks and main course. I had the flow trout with a kiss and it was one of the best fish I've ever eaten. my friend is vegetarian and he had the aglio pasta that was good. that was all we had time for, like between the ones. will definitely be dinner again and try their other fish dishes.

I was recommended to try Paolo's by some friends and I was not disappointed at all. I was looking for a light dinner after work and enjoyed a wonderful meal of sea bass and fresh vegetables, accompanied by a delicious glass of their house Italian Diavolo wine. In fact, I had two glasses! The staff, including the owner, were very friendly and efficient, and the prices were great as well. I highly recommend this restaurant, 5 stars from me.

We booked ahead as it was a visit for my Husbands birthday. When we arrived we were old that they could not find the booking even though it had been made less than an hour before. Once we were seated it took quite a long time to be given the menus. There was a couple who arrived after us and they had drinks served to them almost straight away. Once we were given our menu the food was nice. In all honesty I did not feel that we were made very welcome and there was no acknowledgement of my Husband’s birthday either. Although that food was nice the service was poor.

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
