"I first discovered this restaurant in 2013. It looks like a giant Victorian green house and is simply stunning in its interior and placement in the beautiful and famous Parc des Bastions at the feet of the Old City of Geneva (or Vieille Ville de...Genève). I have been here several times for a tea, coffee or glass of wine. But had never dined here until a few days ago. I met the charming Maître d'Hôte, Karine, who is Suisse and speaks a perfect English although her mother tongue is French. She was so welcoming and warm and made the suggestion that we dine there. So we made a reservation for in a couple of hours and continued our visit of the park. When we returned we were seated on the outside terrace on a beautiful perfect late spring day. The waiter was patient and attentive, as my companion was on his first trip from the US to Europe (where I live) and does not speak French. I had to help him make his selection from the many choices on the menu. What surprised me was how high quality the food was. It was simply delicious and very elegantly served, beautifully plated, elegant tableware, excellent service and, of course, the food tasted great. Good wine too. And the prices for the beauty of the place, the quality of the food, and the ambiance, was more than correct. Not overly pricy, very mid-range, and very fair. I have fallen in love with this place and will no longer be eating at the terrace restaurants on Place du Molard or Place de la Fusterie, which are very nice, but so crowded, and without the gorgeous surrounding park and lovely tree canopy. This is a much more beautiful setting, the food is 100% better for the same price, and it is quiet and civilized, although with folks of every age. If you are an early 20's Frat Boy type who likes to loudly drink in a huge group in a sports bar, this is not a good place to go. But if you want a quieter place surrounded by nature tamed by a marvelous gardening team, surrounded by history, and very near the Geneva Museum of Art and History, across from the Geneva Opera House, down the hill from the Old Town, with an exquisite dining experience that does not cost an arm and a leg, come here. And remember it is a great place for a teatime, glass of wine, beer or a good coffee if you want to catch up with a friend or with family in a place where you can actually hear each other and chat. I cannot praise this restaurant more highly. It is a delight."

Very nice evening in this magnificent place. The welcome and service are top notch and the cuisine is excellent. I wrongly thought it might be a tourist trap and in fact it wasn't at all. To be done again very soon!

I visited on a Tuesday lunch time. The restaurant itself has a unique look, like a botanical garden in a park. The interior of the building is made of glass and resembles a greenhouse, so you can enjoy the view outside on sunny days. Although it was winter, the sunlight made it feel warm. Local Swiss wines are also available. The ``tataki ' ' on the menu is pickled tuna garnished with sesame seeds and cooked only on the outside, and it was refreshing and delicious.

Aucune alternative, solu...
