"We ate at this restaurant today while in Bergamo, it is a little off the beaten track but well worth the detour. The restaurant isn’t much to look at from the street but was full of locals, always a good sign. The set menu of the day is fabulous value at 12 euro for 2 courses, wine, water and coffee. The waiter was friendly but didn’t miss an opportunity to upsell, even so two glasses of Prosecco and limoncello later the bill was still a very modest 40€ for two. The food is pre-prepared and the choice ie from a limited menu but I had a lovely pasta rigatoni followed by chicken, my wife had an equally delicious lasagne starter with ham and goats cheese to follow. Portions are generous and the wine very good value. If you are looking for traditional Italian food, in a relaxed and friendly setting, at a bargain price then this is highly recommended."

we had the 12th birthday party of the daughter in the family circle. the owner found us a table, although the restaurant was full on a Saturday night. all pastas we had were delicious and the portions were generous. we loved it!

Ottimo prezzo. Lo consiglio.

my man and I visited here during our stay in bergamo, we booked in advance, it was very busy, but I think they could call. I had no appetizer, but my man had prawn and squid salat, which he said was delicious. I had penne pasta and tomaten and basilikum and my man had birne and gorgonzola ravioli. for the desert we had the tiramisu and chocolate and strawberry mousse. good size shares, friendly staff with good English. hauswein also beautiful. would recommend. we took casoncelli, spaghetti with mushes and tuna carpaccio. I did not like thunfisch carpaccio at all, it had some small fish on it and the taste was too fishy. casoncelli was good, but nothing special. spaghetti was average. I felt like my homemade spaghetti. probably better tasted than that. portions were ok, but not big. before the meal they brought us dry bread. the service was slightly annoying. in general, we felt that this was a random place, certainly not one of the best rated in bergamo.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on the way back from a long day in Verona and we were only looking for something quick and small. Thankfully we found this restaurant and ended up spending two hours here. The food, wine, service, atmosphere and staff were...absolutely fantastic. We are two Irish who love our Italian food, one a chef and one a restaurant manager. Definitely worth the short stroll out of central Bergamo. The price was also amazing! We will definitely be back to visit here on our next trip to Italy!
