"Love Biggles Lounge, never had Indian food that compares to what they dish up here. Great that they remember repeat customers and have helped me out by checking that I hadn't forgotten something off my normal order (I had and they saved me from the disappointment! . "Sadly despite a nice Sunday roast dinner the service and attitude of staff meant this was not a happy experience. Disappointing pudding and on giving feedback to a staff she said it was nothing to do with her as a kitchen issue. We waited ages for our pudding order to be taken but we 're happy to sit and chat as we could see they were busy. We ordered tea/coffee after and then half way through our were asked to move to the bar as another group were booked on our table. We were practically ordered off so moved to the bar that was heaving with nowhere to sit. Staff did find us chairs by which time we had finished our tea coffee quickly. When we complained the staff who had been previously rude to us she said abruptly you have an hour and a half The manager was aware of this as we paid to leave we complained again and he never offered to at least take teas/coffees off our bill. I wrote and complained and he replied saying we could have a complimentary dinner acknowledging what had happened saying he saw it all but thought he would see how things played out . Because of this I did not do my review and held off. However after four messages and an email asking to rebook I have had no response. Really didn 't make us feel very valued. Will not be returning."

"After many months of my friend recommending that I get a meal from here, I am disappointed I couldn't have tried it sooner. Quality of food is great, prices are very fair and the only downside was that I had to wait for some time. Probably due to the fact it was Friday after a payday though. They do close a lot earlier than many fish and chip shops but trust me, if you can get there in time, it's more than worth it. Dietary restrictions: They do a gluten free option for the cod, but not sure about any others. Best to call beforehand and ask Parking: They have no parking of their own but there is a sign up in the shop saying you can use the charity shop car park while collecting food. The Jumbo Sausage, Burger Meal, and Fish and Chips were all fantastic, and the Mushy Peas and small chips were the perfect accompaniments. The service was top-notch, making the entire experience enjoyable. Plus, the atmosphere is lovely, even when you're dining at home. You definitely get great value for your money!"

"I used to visit this place regularly when it was number 1 in Sandy but haven't been for a while. My wife is not very keen on spicy food so frequently I visit restaurants solo and what is it that restaurants seem to have about people eating alone even at quiet times? A few months ago I entered on a Sunday lunchtime after 1pm and was told it was not yet open despite it being advertised as such. Today I went for the Sunday buffet. I was not offered any poppadums despite knowing that they are extras. The food was OK but not spicy enough for my liking. The only waiter disappeared for virtually the whole of the time so was not available to ask for more drinks. He was more interested in waiting for the arrival of a party group. I was also alarmed by the number of spiders webs visible near the roof of the conservatory and spent most of my time watching a large spider in the centre of one of them! These could easily fall into diners food. When the party arrived a member of the kitchen staff helped seat them dressed in tracksuit bottoms and trainers. They asked for a certain bottle of wine and he never even knew what it was or realised it was on their list. At the end of my meal I asked for a coffee (or tea) and basically the waiter commented that he was too busy/couldn't be bothered to make any. Not a pleasant experience. Will not be returning in a hurry which is a shame as previously enjoyed meals there."
