"Great Staff, Great Food and 5* Service! The staff are great! I was visiting from the north when I called in late on a Wednesday evening for a pizza. Was warmly welcomed even though it was near closing time but was still served great food. The pizzas are top quality fresh pizzas. You will not be disappointed! Special thanks to Alan also for his kindness in helping me out. Highly recommended to visitors and locals if you're looking for great Italian food. A must for pizza lovers!"

Have wanted to visit for some months. We were lucky enough to get a little table inside. The best pizzas and great service from lovely young staff. Their aperol spritz is great too.

Came here on a whim as was close to where we was staying. I must say the food was amazing it’s the closest thing to Italian pizza I have had outside of Italy. Would highly recommend this place to any one who might be in the area. View menu

This is such a little gem in Bedford/Sandy area. I went there twice, one for pizza and one for drink Had the ham and cheese pizza, apple pie gelato, and pumpkin spice latte. Omg they are all very good! Reasonable price, welcoming staff and delicious food. They got me as a frequent customer now

This is a lovely little pizzeria with a casual approach. A simple, but full menu of pizza options, with probably the best gluten free pizza base we’ve tasted for a small extra cost We love the low key atmosphere, great service and wonderful pizzas. If you love pizza in Sandy then you should definitely give them a go! Bellisimo! View menu

Having not been here for quite a few months, scratching our heads as to why we've left it so long! Everything about this place is perfect better than Pizza Express, better than Prezzo etc. etc. etc. Service was spot on, and the way they dealt with my kid's nut allergy was much appreciated. Will be back, and won't leave it so long next time!

Our first Pecoro experience and we loved it! I ordered takeaway pizza and tiramisu (and two cheeky cannoli) online to collect at 18:20 on my way home from work, a Friday treat. It was ready to pick up bang on time and it was all delicious. Approx £32 for 2 great pizzas, a portion of tiramisu (very generous) and the cannoli. We’ll definitely do it again sometime and would love to eat in sometime too.

"I booked a table at this pub which we passed a lot of times and decided we must try as it looks very inviting! I booked a table of 6 outside due to our lovely weather for 7pm. We arrived and our table was ready but as we sat down after a short while we realised it started becoming chilly. I went to see the waiter (Matt I think) see if we could seat inside who told me he pre-empted it and also got our table booked inside! That was very nice! We had the seafood platter sharer, brie wedges, garlic prawns, all served with prawn cocktail dip and home made fish pate and sliced bread. All lovely and freshly made. Then I had rump steak of the day rare which was perfectly cooked, it came with triple cooked chips, grilled tomato, a mushroom and I had a side of onion rings, they were huge! It was all freshly made which was so nice. Husband had steak and suet pudding with nice steak lumps in it. My friends had a guinea burger and the daily special of liver. All in all the meal with lovely, freshly made although a tad slow at times due to the fact that there are only 2 people serving and doing the bar also. I congratulated the chef Josh when I spotted him when we paid our bill on such a lovely meal. My only small gripe is that when we asked for a rose blush wine which they didn't have, Matt said he had a rose of provence and we said yes to that thinking it would be reasonably priced. We found out on the bill that the bottle is £30 and we had 2. I personally think he should have given is the wine list instead of selling us probably his most expensive rose on the wine list. Cheeky."

"I used to visit this place regularly when it was number 1 in Sandy but haven't been for a while. My wife is not very keen on spicy food so frequently I visit restaurants solo and what is it that restaurants seem to have about people eating alone even at quiet times? A few months ago I entered on a Sunday lunchtime after 1pm and was told it was not yet open despite it being advertised as such. Today I went for the Sunday buffet. I was not offered any poppadums despite knowing that they are extras. The food was OK but not spicy enough for my liking. The only waiter disappeared for virtually the whole of the time so was not available to ask for more drinks. He was more interested in waiting for the arrival of a party group. I was also alarmed by the number of spiders webs visible near the roof of the conservatory and spent most of my time watching a large spider in the centre of one of them! These could easily fall into diners food. When the party arrived a member of the kitchen staff helped seat them dressed in tracksuit bottoms and trainers. They asked for a certain bottle of wine and he never even knew what it was or realised it was on their list. At the end of my meal I asked for a coffee (or tea) and basically the waiter commented that he was too busy/couldn't be bothered to make any. Not a pleasant experience. Will not be returning in a hurry which is a shame as previously enjoyed meals there."
