"We have to be honest we went to The Oruna because we’d been lazy and not booked our usual Indian restaurant and we ended up not being able to get a table. However, we found a warm welcome and a table at The Oruna. The service was great; very attentive and polite but not hovering over the table. We decided we couldn’t manage a starter so we just shared popadoms and onion bhajis. These were both cooked fresh and not precooked. Our main courses came out after we’d been asked if we were ready for them. This was a nice change we weren’t rushed. Everything was piping hot. The chap that brought them warned us about the red hot plates and dishes. Both of our meals were delicious. We had nothing to moan about. From entering The Oruna to leaving the service was great. Everything we ordered was spot on. We were talking about our meal later and couldn’t understand why we’d not been to The Oruna for such a long time. This is a bad habit that we’re going to have to get out of…."

"Great restaurant. Visited for my Wife’s Birthday with friends. Booked via Facebook messenger because there were problems with the phone lines which are now fixed. FB messenger response was quick and very polite. Seating has plenty of room and when we arrived the place was buzzing with happy diners. Food choice is vast and reasonably priced, service was excellent and the owner manager very attentive to everyone’s needs. Another great eatery in Drayton. Cannot wait for next visit Thank you"

"The vegan set menu at this restaurant was truly one of the best meals I have ever had. Despite not being a vegan restaurant, the level of talent in the kitchen was evident in each perfectly balanced element of the meal. The brownie for dessert was gorgeous, and I also enjoyed a delicious blueberry gin mojito. I can't wait to return and try more of their vegan creations. The owners were lovely and I wish them all the success in the world with their new business. xxx"
