"Situated next to the hotel we were staying in so worth a punt we thought before going to an evening event. Only one other couple in the place,we were early and guided to a table straight away. Normal pizza menu and other pasta dishes. We shared a garlic bread and mozzarella starter £5.45), really for one piece of bread. Fir mains, my wife ordered the Classic Mushroom and Truffle £13), that when on cutting it found it to be undercooked...did I mention only one other couple, not as if they were rushed. As for the toppings, sparse, must have been a run on the mushrooms at lunch time!! I had the Calzone Nduja £14.95), found some heat with my final bite. Once again not great and not exactly filled. Add one Sprite and a Breakfast Tea, the bill came to £38.50. Not a great experience at all and when back in the vicinity will go to a competitor. Pricey for what is was, must add service was good, and the staff were quick to re-cook the pizza."

Quick pre theatre dinner at Pizza Express. The pizza was hot and tasty. Service was good. Quite expensive but we enjoyed it and would go back.

Polite manager, you could see was busy training and dealing with orders. The only I would say is on the romana base it could be a little more crispy.

It was freezing in there!!! Dough balls took 25 mins to come out……salad was ok, and they had no ketchup!!! What…….a wast of £30, I won’t be returning!!

I was staying at the nearby Premier Inn and decided to have dinner in the room. The customer service was excellent, as they called to address an item that was not available.

We had a delightful dining experience in a tranquil setting. Our server, Sienna, was extremely cheerful and welcoming. We were able to redeem our Tesco Clubcard vouchers without any issues.

Happy to enjoy a pizza here after our theatre show. Pizza was good, staff were excellent. I had the duo pizza which gives two halves of pizza on one base. We used our tesco clubcard vouchers with no problems.

I visited the restaurant on a quiet Sunday afternoon before heading home. The food, as always, was great - I love the gluten-free pizza and dough balls. We also received some great rewards on the app. However, the service was not up to par. Despite there being few other tables in the restaurant, it was difficult to get the attention of our waitress. I was disappointed to see other staff sitting on the side by the kitchen. While I understand it was quiet, it didn't give off a professional vibe to see staff sitting and chatting in the restaurant. I am unsure if I would return to this restaurant in the future.

Popped in after hearing Marcus Wareing thought Pizza Express was the best. Ok. Ordered chili prawns and the hot Arericsn Pizza. The restaurant was busy, loads of noisy children, asked if we could go and dine in another par of the rest, no it was closed, hmmm, it wod have made zero difference, it was closer for the staff,but no. The restaurant does not have a massive menu, but no king prawns, so opted for the calamari. Either a massive run on prawns or poor stock management. The calamari was 'caramelised ', or as we say burnt. Not a good stsrt. My Pizza was tasty, but the bottom a bit soggy. Overall not brilliant and for what it was expensive. Would I go again, I suspect not..
