"I had dinner on Saturday night at this highly rated pizzeria in Naples and was very perplexed. Let's go in order. Extremely friendly staff who served us impeccably. Starters almost non-existent and I can understand this given that they have the mpustarella (bread made by them with a filling of your choice) which they offer as an appetizer and we had it with porchetta and cream of potatoes which really amazed me with its goodness and lightness, dough without salt perhaps due to the fact that they also offer it as a dessert. So far so good, unfortunately the doubt comes about the pizzas. Slightly bland dough in my opinion and not as light as I have always heard from people who had been there before me, questionable shape and cooking and the taste of the pizzas which seemed really flat for what were the high expectations. Bad luck? Wrong choices? I don't know but the fact is that I have absolutely not found all the good things that are said about this place, at least for the pizza. 3 out of 5 only for service and pizza but the pizza, at least for the moment, really disappointed me based on the expectations I had. I return to this pizzeria after 3 years and everything was as I remembered. The pizzas are good (particular praise for the Cossack), with light and digestible dough. Impeccable and very fast service. This first experience with maestro Enzo Coccia was very welcome. Indisputable environment, service and product quality. The scent emanating from just entering the pizzeria made my choice evident of absolute certainty. Arturo 's island very very good, it would have been dreamlike, excellent, if it had been covered only with fresh mint and not also basil. Fresh anchovies washed too much have lost their flavor.
