"Wenn man als Dessert auf der Tageskarte im Juli ein Eis mit frischen Früchten anbietet, was erwartet der Gast? ich erwartete in einer Jahreszeit in der es wirklich alles gibt nicht: Harten Apfel gepaart mit unreifer saurer Ananas! Bei einer Beschwerde fühlte sich die Bedienung nicht zusatändig....mir war schon klar, dass sie nicht kocht, aber das ist kein Umgang mit Gästen. Nie wieder!"

"Wir waren gerade eben hier essen. Einmal mehr mussten wir feststellen, dass hier sehr wechselhaft gekocht wird. Wieder mal ein trockenes und zähes Schnitzel. Die Bedienung ist bemüht und bietet uns als Ersatz auch Kaffee an. Freundliche Geste. Da wir aber schon öfter hier waren wissen wir dass wir nun kein Schnitzel mehr essen werden. Dafür gibt es hier unglaublich tolles Frühstück. Einziges Manko: die Getränke müssen extra bezahlt werden und der Preis variiert je nach Uhrzeit. Das ist verwirrend. Viele werden dies als äußerst originell empfinden. Das Lokal ist aber in jedem Fall einen Besuch wert."

"Well, I'll start with the service. The staff is top notch and super accommodating. We got in late one evening and we were starving. For some strange reason, we wanted beef. So my travel mate asked for a steak and I ordered an off menu item (cheeseburger/ with bacon). Did I mention that we were seated at the hotel bar and didn't want to move into the restaurant? So our awesome server came into the bar with a table cloth and proceeded to dress the table as if we were dining in the restaurant. There's more. While waiting for our meal. The chef sends out two incredible salads topped with pancetta disks and a house vinegarette. AMAZING!! Now for the juicy part. The most heavenly meal arrives just as we finished the salads. The filet that my mate ordered was topped with a mushroom reduction and served with green mashed potatoes.The presentation was spot on. Now I don't want to brag, but what the hell. This was the best burger I have ever eaten. Maybe it was it was the only burger in the place made just for me. No way. This was a thing of pure delight. Topped with more pancetta. Oh yeah, the hand cut fries set this to the next level. After the meal, I asked if we could personally thank the chef and he did come out to receive his praises and a challenge to make gumbo when I return. I can go on about how awesome the staff was and how each meal just got better each night. This is the place to stay and eat if you are in or near the area."

"We were, unfortunately, to say, completely disappointed. To the wedding day we had reserved a table that was nicely covered. The service was super nice all the time. However, we had first got a tom from the kitchen, which was standing on another table for a very long time and had already looked out as tried or simply fell together in the warmth. The other guests got well cooled, especially as they were tuna. Then the main dish came, which was cold and completely salted. The service wanted to complain to the cook. We thought we would get a new plate again. But it would offer us a schnapps or espresso, which we rejected. What else would have missed because of our concert. When the bill came, we had to pay the full price. On the note.ä, that we had actually expected a discount, the service said she had asked her boss and he had not allowed it. What kind of statement is this about a restaurant?????? Customer complained and it doesn't interest him He could have given us at least one voucher, then he would still have made profit and another business. I think impossible boss, Mr Machauer!!!! That's not how to deal with guests."

"Wer gutes, frisch zubereitetes Essen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Noch dazu zu einem Preis, der unschlagbar ist!Die kleine, direkt neben der Metzgerei gelegene "Wirtschaft" ist urig eingerichtet und bietet mit wechselnder (Tages-)Karte leckere Gerichte, welche die typische badische Küche mancherorts schon vergessen hat.Ich bin dort immer eingekehrt, wenn ich in Bruchsal zu tun hatte, und wurde bislang niemals enttäuscht. Mein Lieblingsgericht: Knöchele mit Sauerkraut und Kartoffelbrei! Ich ziehe den "Metzgerwirt" jeder Sterneküche vor!"
