"We had high expectations given the reputation of this long established restaurant. Maybe it was because only my husband was eating (I was unwell) but we were treated with indifference from the moment we arrived. Initially we were asked if we wanted water and presented with the menu. My husband chose pizza (our reason for visiting) and his order was taken quickly. We wasn’t asked if we wanted any other drinks. His pizza was ok nothing special. The bill was practically thrown at our table. The one redeeming factor was a young waiter who was more friendly than the senior waiter and came and asked if we’d enjoyed our meal. I’m sure there are far more welcoming pizzerias in Napoli."
