"Vicoforte is an incredibly beautiful location surrounded by sylvan hills with wintry mountains in the distance. There is a Napoleonic route to follow and the Sanctuary an architectural feat and feast, It is known for having the largest elliptical cupola in the world, celebrating who else but the Virgin plus being the burial site for several royals. Dining options on foot are limited and can be busy saturday or closed sunday. Parlapa is one of the few places. It's not trying to be fancy. It serves pizza at 6-8 Euros and a few pasta dishes. For the price, the food is decent, the service good and its popularity with locals evident. Wine list is retail prices and a fair selection for a modest place, seeking good value and representative wines of the region, wider italy plus a few international wines. It's not destination dining but good enough."

Ho provato il menu proposto a 18 euro: vitello tonizzato, ravioli di plin a salsa di carne o burro e salvia e bunet. semplice e buono come quelli fatti da mamma. personale amichevole e veloce. Anche nelle pizze. Torno subito.

Servizio discreto. Alla mia compagna hanno sbagliato bevanda in quanto le hanno servito un estathè alla pesca senza ghiaccio mentre lei aveva ordinato un estathè al limone con ghiaccio. Inoltre con il vitello tonnato, ho dovuto richiedere personalmente che mi fosse servito del pane mentre di norma negli altri ristoranti viene servito di prassi. Per il resto, servizio rapidissimo e comunque, personale molto disponibile e cordiale. La pizza aveva un impasto fine e ben cotto ma la farcitura era a mio avviso scarsa. I prezzi erano comunque più bassi delle altre pizzerie della zona. Esperienza comunque nel complesso, positiva.
