we were yesterday with a bigger group in the portal 50 and I must say we had a great evening! nice covered table, great eating and a really attentive service. the prices are really justified according to my view due to the quality. we like to come back.

we were at lunch on the terrace and have eaten tuna steak (daily card) and rinderfilet (a la carte). both courts were super: 9.5 out of10 points!If the steak knives were slightly sharper, there would have been 10 points. in serious - we were thrilled. eating, service and ambiente very great. we're planning to visit the next one.

we were 7 people. Appetizer went forever, had already 3 fl. weiswein; not the desired. We had to wait for the first time, both of which did not meet our expectations. creme prulee was pudding without flambit crust. price - performance was underground. the only convincing, given the prices was the ambiente of the really beautiful local. Conclusion: overpriced, poor service, - can't recommend it!

Today we were in the portal 50 for the first time - that we have waited so long, it has turned out to be a mistake in the following: the restaurant is a carlsruher highlight - elegant facility, very fast and friendly service and above all: here is properly cooked, really good! that we entered an empty local at the best midday (12:30 o'clock), had initially a little troubled, but when we went, was neatly operated, including some regular masters, which is always a good sign.Hungry as we were, we had served ourselves forefront and main dish (Carpaccio/Edelfisch)

Last week we celebrated the young solo farewell of my best friend in the portal 50 and were all very satisfied. we had a table in a separate room and could celebrate the special occasion in a more familiar round. the service was attentive but not intrusive. Especially the main dish tasted me. the meat was super delicate, the sauce perfectly tasted and the supplement also rounded off the dish. even if I liked to cook myself, I would not have gotten that way! I forgot the name. but also my dessert (creme brulé) was very delicious. everything in all the occasions worthy.

we had reserved for 12 people. it was not a table for us. in a local of this price class I expect that not only the corresponding tables will be put together when coming. an appetizer did not come at all, but was calculated. then we waited for the main meal for hours, while other guests who had eaten later long ago. a dame of our group had an urgent appointment after two hours and got the food 15 minutes before their appointment. a main dish was totally forgotten and quite sweetly delivered, otherwise not what was ordered, and this after another 20 minutes waiting period. which disserts that was generously announced as reparation was calculated on the invoice. no one was asked if he wanted d...

we wanted to spend a nice evening in a cozy atmosphere here. it was our first visit and were very curious what will await us. we had a table next to the entrance door. it pulled something and it was very loud as all the tables were occupied.We decided to use the surprise menus. at a menu everything went wrong....The 1st and 2nd floor was the same...and the waiters were little surprised about this error and as compensation there was another pastatlller for the 3rd time with the same sauce...but another nudel variation. we waited 2.5h for a 3 go menu. after salt and pfeffer we would have to ask 3x until we got this. we have received the dishes at different times, therefore have not at the same...
