"I have been a regular at Pret A Manger for several months, visiting both in the morning and for lunch. The staff are always friendly and efficient with my coffee orders, which include black Americano, espresso, and various iced lattes (black, white, and soy). Their breakfast options are fantastic; I especially love the bacon and egg mayo baguette and the chicken bacon Caesar sourdough stick, which features the perfect amount of Parmesan. However, it's a shame they don't serve the smoked salmon egg mayo for breakfast. For lunch, their soups are impressive—I'm sure the Soup Dragon would agree! The chicken laksa soup is a favorite among my group, and the mushroom risotto is hearty and flavorful, making it perfect for a cold day, enhanced by a lovely chicken broth and tasty tomato. The kale mac and cheese and bacon mac and cheese are also delightful; I can't quite recall if there’s hidden cauliflower, but the kale version is particularly good. The raspberry lemonade and rhubarb lemonade are excellent, along with their other fizzy drinks. They offer plenty of ginger-infused options, and selections like ginger lemon are both refreshing and light. When ordering soup, you can choose between a Scandi rye roll, a rye roll, or a baguette served with mini butter. The service at this location is fast and welcoming. The ambiance is usually tranquil, but it can be unexpectedly interrupted by the loud bark of a nervous dog, which disrupts the serenity.
