"We came here as my fiance had a voucher from a birthday present. We already had horrible service at the Prezzo on North Bridge in Edinburgh (which, is now ironically closed but thought we 'd give this one a try. Wish we hadn 't bothered. We walked in and were told three times that someone would be with us, even though they proceeded to stand in front of us and chat away to themselves. It wasn 't busy. There was a table at the back, in the dark, on it 's own that my fiance had already pointed out and said hope we don 't get sat there . Low and behold we get taken over (eventually to this table at the back, at which point my fiance politely asked if we could be seated somewhere/anywhere else (there must have been at least 20 other empty tables at which point the host (I think his name was Stewart presume he was the host as he wasn 't wearing uniform? refused to seat us anywhere else as this was in his area . We sat down, pee 'd off but whatever. Not a moment has gone by and the same host then proceeded to sit at least three other couples that came in after us in the other tables. Alrighty then! We ordered our food and drinks and this host couldn 't have tried less to make us feel welcome. He rushed us at every point (again, the place was not busy, it was a Monday night and would quite happily chat to the kitchen staff while literally stood at our table. Felt very unwelcome throughout and felt like we were sat in the staff room. You couldn 't pay me to go back there. If you 're looking for good service, don 't bother coming here. There 's plenty of places to eat in Livingston that would give you miles better service without having to try and would appreciate your custom."

For a chain,it's not that bad, probably a bit pricey for what it is. £7 for a small bit of garlic bread is a joke. Service was ok

Lovely meal out this evening in prezzo. Staff in here are so friendly and couldn’t do more for us. Food was delicious as well. Will defiantly be back soon!

My family and I recently dined at Prezzo and had a wonderful meal. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was excellent. It had been a while since our last visit, but this was by far our best experience yet.

We decided to eat here as the food in our hotel nearby wasn’t good. The staff were so friendly and did their best to fit us in on a busy Saturday night. Service was fantastic. The food was beautiful we had starters, mains and dessert and couldn’t fault anything. We had such a lovely evening, thank you to the manager who was fantastic too. View menu

Seated and served promptly. Staff were friendly. Firstly, No olives, no lasagna!! Went for the spaghetti carbonara, tasteless, as was the monk fish dish!! The kids pizza was a success, and the starts were nice, but at nearly £8 for an average starter, I have paid the same for a starter in The Ivy in Glasgow!! I think My visiting days to Prezzo are over!! Over priced menu for an under average meal.

I consistently have a good dining experience at Prezzo, and this time was no exception. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. However, the only downside was that the restaurant was uncomfortably cold, forcing me to keep my coat on throughout the meal. I wouldn't dine at home with my coat on, so I certainly don't expect to do so in a restaurant. I understand that energy costs are high, but the temperature was noticeably chilly.

Visited Prezzo before the cinema with my parents and 6 year. Food was lovely , tasty and fresh. We have visited a few times before and the food and service was as good as always. I have read a comment complaining about unavailable menu items. There is a shortage across the country at the moment and I have seen signs up in various restaurants and drive thrus so I feel it is unfair to mark restaurants down . Sadly, it is the world we live in at the moment. My family and I will certainly be back at Prezzo again. Can’t wait for the new menu View menu

Out for the day with my family and popped in for lunch. All well to start with, placed order and starter arrived for little one. We weren’t having one so waited until she was finished. In the meantime 2 tables of people arrived and placed their orders. We sat waiting for 40 mins before getting our main meal! Meanwhile the other 2 tables that came in after us (and placed orders well after us) were served their food first. I had a young child with me and we were so hungry by the time our food arrived I couldn’t tell you if it was good or not. I ordered a coffee and the dessert menus but noticing that my order wasn’t being acted on I decided to cancel and ask for my daughters desert (previously...

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Prezzo. I went for dinner to celebrate my birthday with friends and family on April 1st. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, the service was very poor. We felt ignored by the servers, with only the manager seeming to be attentive. Half of us ordered drinks to be served before the food, while the other half ordered them once the meal arrived. However, no drinks were served until half of our food was already finished. The food was served but left to get cold on our table because we were not given any cutlery to eat with. Despite asking two servers for cutlery, they never returned. The manager eventually arrived and asked how our food w...

"Where to start? Don’t waste your money. The rooms are in a desperate need of a facelift. Walls were a shade of prison gray and no art work or wall decor of any kind. The shower is smaller than a phone booth. If you fell you’d never hit the floor you’d just be wedged in for all eternity. There was no safety latch from the inside of the door. There was also no do not disturb sign to hang out. You guessed it—maid service entered both mornings without knocking. We put the suitcase in front of the door the second night or she would have gotten an eye full. It seems a serious safety violation this day and time not to have a way to secure your room. There is no staff on duty at night. We were told our room key would open the main door if we came back after hours. Now the noise. Omg is this place noisy! There is a bar attached and we got a great deal of noise from that the first night. Also noise from other rooms travels very quickly. But none of that compared to the second night. Bar was much louder. Then a very rowdy party took place in the Beer Garden complete with DJ and speakers. The room vibrated. We vibrated. This went on until after 11:00. I have never had such a miserable hotel experience my life. What we wanted was a quiet night before flying home. What we got was a frat party. Never again. There is absolutely no way families with children should stay here. Safety: No inside safety bolt for the door."
