"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here on Saturday evening either friends and family. The six of us all received a very warm welcome. All the staff were excellent friendly, efficient and looked very smart. The ambiance was great. The food was excellent, we all enjoyed our starters, main courses and desserts. It was well presented, tasty, good quality and plenty of good choices available. The restaurant was comfortable with leather upholstered seats and plenty of room for all six guests around the table. I was very impressed by the whole experience and will definitely be returning to Primo Piano!"

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Italian flavors. We highly recommend it.

Visited again after a few months away. Delighted to see the same great food and service. Steak was cooked perfectly and it was pleasant to experience a variation to the usual sauce to keep things interesting!

Delicious food and excellent service! We had crispy mozzarella, pork belly and prawn and salmon starters which were delicious, followed by a pizza, calzone and fettuccine mains which were fantastic. Service was attentive without being intrusive. We wish we lived closer.

I cannot express enough how wonderful this restaurant is. My family of 9 had a perfect experience! The staff, food, and atmosphere were all amazing. The Italian cuisine was the most delicious I've ever had, but I won't tell my Sicilian mom that! This restaurant made my dad's 80th birthday extra special. Thank you, Primo Piano!

Wish we had an independent pizza restaurant where we live, especially if it was like Primo Piano. Parking available nearby, decent place, usual sort of restaurant look. Staff, absolutely brilliant, very helpful, very friendly and great service. Pizzas were top notch and cooked to perfection. It was reasonably priced and we would defo go back if we were in Leek again.

We decided to go out for lunch to celebrate a special occasion. It had been a few years since our last visit, so I made a reservation. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and seated promptly. From that point on, the service was exceptional. The lunch menu, although not extensive, offered a variety of options and the specials board featured delicious dishes. The food was fantastic and the portion sizes were very generous. Despite the cozy size of the restaurant and it being almost full, we never felt rushed. We will definitely be coming back again.

It’s not often I’m lost for words when I’m out at a restaurant. Out for Sunday lunch with my wife and two of my children I was advised by the lovely waitress to try the “Short Rib Beef”,she described it as “Stunning “ This was an understatement ! I ate as slowly as possible because I didn’t want the meal to end My wife is vegetarian and a coeliac and dietary needs were catered for wonderfully There are two restaurants that I always look forward to returning to and I am never disappointed. One is called FORN in Palma,Majorca The other one is called PRIMA PIANO in Leek;Staffordshire

"Our room faced the front of the hotel, and while the village was quiet with only two pubs and a small corner store, it seemed to be a shortcut for heavy vehicles speeding downhill at night, with headlights constantly illuminating our room. We also found out that the hotel closes in the evening if it's not busy, and the front door may be locked as early as 10 PM, requiring a code for re-entry. The internet service was poor; even standing just outside the front door, I had no reception and couldn't call the emergency numbers posted there. It appears that the quality of the rooms varies significantly, with some having been upgraded while others are less desirable, including our own. When we questioned our bill because we didn't think the room was worth £140, we were told that since we had booked through Charming Escapes, we should take it up with them, as the hotel receives only a fraction of what we paid. This made us feel like second-class guests, especially since it seemed we were stuck in a low-quality room. The standard rate for a double room is £90, and if I were to rate our experience like on the TV show "Four in a Bed," I would say £50 a night would have been generous. Previous reviews also mentioned an issue with the door handle and the ability to lock the room, which had not been fixed. If you’re just looking for a place to dry off your hiking boots, this hotel might suffice, but I wouldn't recommend staying here again. It has a lot of potential, and thankfully, we had a wonderful evening at The Devonshire Arms just across the street—it felt like a whole different experience. It seems the staff at Charles Cotton have simply given up."
