"We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday brunch lunch time and happened to walk past Quay Street Diner. Not hugely hungry just yet, we booked a table for 2 at 1.30pm. Getting there a little early, our table was ready in the busy restaurant so we sat down and ordered our drinks. Drinks (a pint and a tea) came out pretty quickly and our food order was taken. We then waited. And waited. For 45 minutes. My partner went up to order another a drink (as no-one came to the table) and enquire about food. Our 2nd round of drinks came 5 minutes later and the food 5 minutes after that. 55 minutes waiting for fish tacos and a Phillycheese Steak sub which were nice but not almost an hour wait nice. The server apologised when our 2nd round if drinks were brought over and when we went to pay they were also apologetic. I was looking forward to ordering a dessert (which sounded amazing) but didn't want to risk another massive wait. We left fairly quickly after finishing food."

I booked a table too small for our party. They switched us quickly to a booth that would work on a Friday night. My fish taco was delicious and at the end of the night they called a taxi for some of us. Friendly service and the food was better than I expected!

Prosecco brunch bought on wowcher for 4 of us. Paid extra for a fifth. Good service. Food, great value. We ordered an orange juice to have with our Prosecco (mimosa) but was told later we could have had it made up as one anyway which would have been good knowing beforehand but not the end of the world. Well cooked food, lush chips.
