"We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday brunch lunch time and happened to walk past Quay Street Diner. Not hugely hungry just yet, we booked a table for 2 at 1.30pm. Getting there a little early, our table was ready in the busy restaurant so we sat down and ordered our drinks. Drinks (a pint and a tea) came out pretty quickly and our food order was taken. We then waited. And waited. For 45 minutes. My partner went up to order another a drink (as no-one came to the table) and enquire about food. Our 2nd round of drinks came 5 minutes later and the food 5 minutes after that. 55 minutes waiting for fish tacos and a Phillycheese Steak sub which were nice but not almost an hour wait nice. The server apologised when our 2nd round if drinks were brought over and when we went to pay they were also apologetic. I was looking forward to ordering a dessert (which sounded amazing) but didn't want to risk another massive wait. We left fairly quickly after finishing food."

Don’t book on line as when we got there they said they were full and we shouldn’t have been able to book on line.

Served by a lovely member of staff, he seemed to really love his job. Lovely atmosphere, bringing my family back again in a few weeks.

Amazing food, lovely staff, good atmosphere. Service was a bit slow due to only one waitress however it didn’t matter due to the enjoyable setting.

Staff were attentive and polite. My son had chicken and I had the rib-eye. The Pinot Noir red wine was very nice. We booked very late but we had a choice of 2 tables and the ambience was good.

I really enjoyed my veggie breakfast, my partner didn’t really like his fried chicken with waffles as he thought it was a bit weird, he ate it tho! I really like this place and would recommend it, just make sensible choices and not eat chicken for breakfast!

I booked a table too small for our party. They switched us quickly to a booth that would work on a Friday night. My fish taco was delicious and at the end of the night they called a taxi for some of us. Friendly service and the food was better than I expected!
