have lived in fareham for nine months, thought it was time that we tried the red lion hotel we had a really nice meal, would highly recommend a visit. a big thumbs up from us

At the end of the day, its a pub bistro but the quality and amount of food is surprisingly good and reasonably priced. The staff are attentive and polite; what more would you want.

Really wasn't sure about going here... beer selection average, but the food was FANTASTIC! Staff were great too. It is rare I am defeated but I could not clear my plate. Recommend the roast dinners, Hunters Chicken and fish (not all together of course!

we had an excellent meal, beer was on form, service spot on, parking not a problem, no codes to leave like the last time we visited, pay and display fee refunded when food was bought, much easier to leave as we were on a motorcycle. thanks for a nice time.

on the first look a standard British pub menu, but look closer and there is not only the expected vegan burger, but also a cake and a very tasty “garden salad” juice with lots of fresh vegetables. had the salat and was impressed by the previous review on 2021-08-28
