Red Lion - Menu

The service is quick and the food is reasonably priced. We often choose this place for Sunday dinner. The Red Lion has had its ups and downs since the 1970s, but it's always nice to return.

A good Sunday lunch with family Great friendly service in a comfortable setting 2 of the main courses were rather dried out suspect they had been left under a heat lamp for a while before being brought to the table but the desserts were excellent especially the selection plate.

this is one of my favorite pubs and I visit regularly. there is a good choice for vegetarian customers, but not much choice for vegans. since the pandemic, red lion no longer seems to offer so many vegan options. the personal is friendly and it is a beautiful place. it is a nice place to go for a drink View menu

This pub is one of my favorites and I go there often. They have a decent selection for vegetarian diners, but not as much for vegans. Unfortunately, since the pandemic, there have been fewer vegan options available at the Red Lion. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. It's a great spot to grab a drink.

beautiful lentil ligne. but the burger (beyond burger) was dried to a hauch. barely vegan options. we tried this place because the former reviewer suggested that it was good, so I leave this review here to say that it was not worth it. too expensive £13 for husk burger with chips and £12 lasagne with salat (which was old and brunetted)

The lentil lasagna was delicious, but the Beyond Burger was overcooked and lacked moisture. There were few vegan options available at this restaurant. We decided to try this place based on a previous reviewer's recommendation, but unfortunately, we were disappointed. I loved the vegan menu here – so many possibilities, for appetizers, main courses, pages and even desserts! I had one from the usual vegan burger (quinoa and chickpea, I think) with in-house tomaten and pesto sauce. the salat that came with it included ocauliflower and cauliflower and carrot – delicious. I also had a beingeschirr of aubergine in a pfeffersoße tomaten and there were five vegan desserts from which I choose – not heard where I live. I loved the opportunity to have a small part of dessert with a hot drink. I had the Pecan Pie with espresso — just the right amount to finish a good meal. the only thing the pub could do better is to offer non-dairy milk for the tee and coffee.

This was a family lunch the day after our anniversary. I had a duck starter. It cost over £6 and I got 4 minute very fatty pieces of duck, together they totalled the size of 2x50p pieces with two sugar cube sized pieces of something tasting of beetroot. Three of our party had prawn cocktail dumped on a plate and all tasting different (surely not right) Four of us had beef dinners. I had less meat on my plate than anyone else, and 3 of the 4 meat portions were incredibly tough, mine particularly so. We were comped two desserts following my complaint.
