"This restaurant is lovely all around. I did a lot of research to find a restaurant where we could try the Bistecca Fiorentina and also enjoy a beautiful environment. Regina Bistecca, which is in a lovely former bookstore, fits the bill perfectly. We had a sampler plate to start with and everything was delicious. The steak, obviously, is the star of the show and presented as such on a raised platter. It didn't disappoint. I also am glad that they didn't force a practically raw steak on us as some places do. We asked for a little more heat and they graciously provided so our steak was medium rare. The service was excellent, ambience lovely and food delicious. We would definitely go back."

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per la Fiorentina. Molto buona, scelto un menu degustazione per due. Ambiente è molto elegante ed in pieno centro. Spesa totale 160€.

The food was good, the wine list was good, the service was good. However, our table had a sewer smell that ruined the meal for us. Ask for a table near the front or upstairs.

Great atmosphere, excellent service and a must try for Beafsteak Steak) Florentine. The Burro e acciughe del Cantabrico Cantaberian Butter with Anchovies) was amazing. Go with the Chianina cut for the steak Florentine but can’t go wrong with the Frisona Italiana cut either.

Came on a solo visit (albeit a friend joined me part way through). Had the tagliatelle steak ragu as my first course, followed by a proper fiorentine steak as my main. The service was attentive, the food of an exceptional quality, the environment of the restaurant was very peaceful, and the wine was lovely. All in all a great find and a great experience!

This was a recommendation from our hotel and we are so glad we took them up on it. The food was outstanding, the service excellent. Our evening out was close to perfection. Very good wine list, stunning beef in a variety of forms (I had the steak tartare which I enjoyed). You probably need to book. Just round the corner from the Duomo so convenient for most visitors.

Would have been 5 stars except for the price. Very expensive for a meal for 2 with wine €190) compared to similar restaurants in the area. Otherwise, antipasti was a very good selection meat, cheese and crostinis. The Fiorentino was served only with the sirloin side of the T bone not including the fillet side) however was cooked perfectly rare and well seasoned. The desserts were light and flavourful

The food was ok. My favorite part was actually the appetizer. Dessert was wildly mediocre. And the service was awful. For the price you’re paying, I couldn’t believe it. Our waiter just seemed annoyed all night. Also, little things bothered me, like dull steak knives. And probably because of the location, it just felt like maximum tourist trap. Everyone around us was American. Next time I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Service was terrible, I made a reservation days in advance and we were seated next to the door and cutlery cupboard, leading to waiters bumping into me all night. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table, then asked for it two more times and never got it. I can't believe I paid over 250€ for a party of 4 and got the worst service I've ever had. Very disappointing considering the other reviews. Two stars instead of one because the steak was good.
