"Located in West Berlin, my friend told me this place serves solid South German fare. He recommended I try the spaetzle (think tiny cut pieces of egg noodles or mini gnocchi), but for some reason I was more interested in the other parts of the menu so I ordered several items for us to share. Flammekuchen (think German/French white pizza) Flaky, almost phyllo crust. well seasoned, delicious. Maultachen with Gorgonzola sauce (think potstickers/fried dumplings with a thick sauce) good balance, the Gorgonzola sauce did not over power. And I love the sauerkraut it's amazing compared to the nasty american, polish, russian crap we get in the states. There are so many varieties in Germany I love it. We sat outside, but it seems to be a mini cafeteria probably for the lunch time rush. Full bar in the back."
