"Found this quaint restaurant tucked off Kurfurstendamm . Nice welcoming staff , which made us step in the inside sitting area , which is nicely covered with Indian theme murals . Staff is attentive , Its owner mr Ashok katoch a kashimri gentleman , gives...personal attention to his customers , taking to them getting to know what they would like to him. He gave us a lot of information about Kashmiri cuisine. he informed this restaurant was started in later he purchased it. Since meat was not Halal , I went for Vegetarian curry while my colleague ordered Chicken curry, both were lip smacking tasty authentic Indian. Dessert was also too good. Was full with local berliners when we went , which showed its popularity"

The food was authentic and just amazingly delicious and fresh. We went there with my husband (who is from India) and had a blast. We ordered so many things and everything was just great. We had papads, paneer tikka, paneer makhni, mango lassi, garlic ..cheese naan, Kashmiri naan. The staff members were very lovely and attentive. We would come back again next time we are in Berlin.

we were in the calcutta as a larger family group to a special occasion. Everything was very nice. but nothing special. pale salat deko could be more creative and with more effort. waiter old school. Nice. we were very upset about the fact that we were able to pay when we were paying (great charge not with ec card because the machine was broken. we were not warned, there was nix on’s house, the apology was disgusting. imagine they want to invite 10 people and then something! well we all had enough cash and have done everything in a pot. very annoying and embarrassing for all .
