Hermes - Menu

I enjoyed a creamy pasta. I also had a salad. Food was delicious, good portions and reasonably priced. I liked the atmosphere. We sat upstairs. I recommend it

I have eaten in Hermes a number of times over the last four years and enjoyed the experience each time. The staff are friendly and the portions of food are generous. Recommended for meat lovers

We found the whole experience bleak. The lamb was rubbery and not properly grilled, the pitta was rock hard and greasy. The English menu made little sense as was very badly translated. Would not return View menu

In this compromise of a Greekstyle and Italian restaurant you get good food at a reasonable price and you can sit in a prominent place to watch what is going on in the central marketplace with great sights such as Market Church and the...Haendel Monument just in front

Great food, great selection, very fresh and for the quality especially of meat and crunchy salads not too expensive as well as large portions. Very courteous and attentive service by ALL waiters and waiters. The boss often serves personally and advises even if he is full. In addition beautiful adjacent rooms. For me the best Greek in Halle!

At the market square there is this small, lovely Greek restaurant with a nice view on the red tower and cathedral. I had the Spezial Teller, which turned out be a massive quantity of the standard meat dishes suzuki, souflaki, etc, with a salad side...dish. To me, it was good, but could have been a tad more delicate, so a bit less salt in the suzuki, a bit less dry souflaki, etc. The free ouzo before and after dinner was tasty and generous. I ate with a party of friends, sitting outside, two courses, aperitifs and wine unfortunately, especially as it was a very warm evening, there was no ice for the aperol spritzes. Schoolboy error indeed. The food arrived promptly, starting with a huge mixed meze...platter for four which would have done as the entire meal, followed by enormous plates of grilled lamb, chicken and mixed fish. The waiter suggested a red wine which was absolutely fine. The bill did not break the bank and there was too much, which I always feel guilty for not eating. A good postwork meal

I went here for a random Christmas day lunch so the menu was slightly different from what they normally have so I can only speak on that alone. Service was very friendly, I think one of the manager or owner kept checking in on us,...so that was good. But being American, I'm used to people checking on you while you're eating so maybe I am biased like that. Food itself was ok, didn't blow me away but I didn't hate it. I had the mix grilled plate with lots of kabobs things and french fries. I have to say, the french fries were pretty good. The portion was large so I didn't finish it and took the leftover home. My friend didn't like his lamb so much as it was slightly tough. Over all, not a bad... View menu
