Restaurant Koi - Menu

Would recommend this restaurant for a change from the plethora of French offerings in La Rochelle. Freshly prepared sushi is delicious and offers great value.

Small bar restaurant with a good atmosphere, the food is excellent, we had a discovery menu for 2, the quantity is just sufficient, the quality is there. The staff are lovely

This night (3 August 2016) we had a wonderful dinner at the Koi restaurant. Excellent food and nice people. Be a little patient because they are a bit understaffed but the food and the kindness make up for that.

Had Pad Thai green curry and Pad King noodles with prawns absolutely delicious!!! It was very late, atmosphere great, good much needed and delicious! Served quickly and by a very helpful waitress! Looked scrumptious too!

Hyper contente de mon choix de restau ! C’était délicieux, ambiance tamisée, lieu convivial, nous étions au comptoir pour dîner, un peu surprenant au début mais en fait un vrai plaisir ! La fin de soirée semble se terminer en musique avec la bonne humeur ! Je recommande autant pour un couple qu’un groupe d’ami ! J’y retournerai sans hésiter !

Welcome, atmosphere, service and quality of the dishes offered are there. The spring rolls, my favorite starter, the sushi and sashimi are well made and the raw fish is quality. All the dishes are palatable, the wines are of good quality, especially the mineral white Graves that I chose. We sense the solid experience of the master of the house. Thank you and long life to the Koi.

A great little sushi restaurant - vibrant atmosphere in one of the dining streets of La Rochelle - reservations recommended during the high season!A good choice of sushi rolls, fresh fish, friendly service and a welcome fresh alternative to the heavier french food we had enjoyed for 7 days. The sushi menus were varied, the prices fair, and the food arrived promptly. Great evening!

We ate here the last day of our 2 week holiday. The atmosphere in La Rochelle was great so we reserved for 5. We orderen a couple of sushi rolls, some springrolls (new, loempia) and 'a tigre's cry' plate. I loved that last one but was not pleased at all with the rather mediocre sushi's who's rice was overcooked. But service was very friendly and fast so I would not go back but also do not regret. ButI strongly advise to order Thai and not Sushi!

Petit restaurant bar qui ne paye pas de mine et pourtant nous avons bien apprécié notre repas Le coin est sans chichi ; c 'est le patron qui s 'occupe de la confection du poisson cru et en cuisine, une femme seule qui s 'occupe de tout le reste ! Et la carte est assez étoffée ! La petite serveuse quoiqu 'un peu timide et introvertie a été très serviable et agréable Nous avons pu déguster plusieurs petits plats différents et c 'est le tigre qui pleure qui a remporté la palme du soir, la cuisson était parfaite ! Une belle surprise !
