in the manu you can enjoy wonderful vegan food or also take home. it is very quiet and pleasant there. the prices are great. especially the lunch table.

the restaurant serves Italian dishes, but is mainly specialized in Indian food. all dishes are vegetarian or vegan with many good options. we chose pakoras as an appetizer and two Indian dishes as a net. also a mango leti. eating was pretty good and we enjoyed it. it is nice to have some more options for vegetarian food in the opposite and we will come back.

If you are looking for good Indian food, stay away from Manu. All of the distinctly different dishes our group ordered had almost the same flavor, and very little of it. They were also served with tasteless manufactured bread rolls no good breads like Naan, Roti, or Chapati were anywhere in sight. The salads were boring and dripping in what was obviously cheap store bought dressing. The soup was a sickening combination of vaguely Indian spices and western vegetable soup.

Take bus 4 or 5 from city centre (Jungfernstieg or central station) till the Grindelhof stop, or bus 15 till Bezirksamt Eimsbüttel and walk a couple of minutes up (bus 4,5) or down (bus 15).
