"We ended up at Zee's after sitting at the restaurant next door for 20 minutes while the employees fiddled with chair cushions and a cart of things and totally ignored us until we left. Although the server at Zee's wasn't super friendly he was very attentive and we never lacked for anything. The fried fish dish I got was very delicately battered and delicious . My husband did not get what he ordered but still said it was a lovely dish. The view is gorgeous and the restaurant seems to be a favorite of the locals since the patio was packed."

"Im Hotel Friedheim haben wir für eine Übernachtung an einem Wochenende gebucht und auch vor Ort zu Abend gegessen. Zuerst darf man festhalten, dass es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt war. Das Zimmer war von A Z sauber, geräumig und preislich absolut fair. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls top, wobei ich das Kalbssteak gerne hervorheben möchte dieses war eine Granate, super zart und schmackhaft. Einzig darf ich hier allenfalls etwas bei der Foie Gras Vorspeise anmerken. Diese war, in Kombination mit der Polenta geschmacklich super lecker, aber mit drei Scheiben schon ziemlich übertrieben was die Menge betrifft. Aber ja, dennoch sehr lecker. Auch das Frühstück war tiptop zwar keine grosse Auswahl, dafür waren die angebotenen Leckereien von sehr guter Qualität. Obwohl wir uns bei der Begrüssung am Empfang nicht sonderlich willkommen gefühlt haben, war der ganze Aufenthalt ein voller Erfolg. Wir würden dieses Haus wärmstens weiterempfehlen."

"This place has the most amazing view where the outdoor garden backs directly onto the lake. Giant beautiful boats go past while you sip of great coffee received by great service. It When we arrived it was raining and the outdoor part was closed. I asked if we could go outside anyway and the waitress dried all the table and chairs for us which was very nice. We have had cakes from here takeaway and they are delicious but if you have the time it's definitely worth expericing the lake views. 5"

"Hotel Reception is good. Manager is bad. We went for a late dinner after exhausting trip, hoping to have nice light dinner to fulfil our tummy. Went with proper bed costume. Rejected entry Was told there was a dress code for the restaurant (have to change shoes, does not specificially tell us to have proper dress shirts). The restaurant is not full yow... Went back to change our slippers to shoes. Was directed to another 'secluded isolated ' room. Lucky still have understanding waiter to serve our food. We stayed at the hotel and still got these poor treatments... no wonder the hotel is not full, even post-omicron, if you have arrogant and not understanding manager, you will always lose customers. P.S. We went to Burgenstock Resort and we had the same bed costume. We were greeted like a VIP, happy with the server, waiter manager. No one checking our outfit and welcome us as we are important customers as others. That is true hospitality."
