"we were very satisfied with 9 persons between 20 60 years approx. 3.5 hours there and without exception. the service: at any time attentive, friendly, humorous, courteous, even with not everyday desire not to get out of the rest. always to the place before you had to call but never intrusive. Feed: 10 of them 8 different: the kartoffels baked, fried or as pommes very good. the meat good quality, 1 2 minutes less heat, then it would have been perfect. the steak was no longer English, the chicken breast was slightly dry, but not tough. the currywurst xl with pommes super. one has made the choice between two sauces, one of them. large differences in taste, both excellent. the taste of the sauces was not a problem. decision fell hard, so both were served. the different salads were well assembled, including dressings tasteful. even for my claims there was enough dressing. the sweetness was also without complaints. all dishes have been rated positiw. the ambiente hit our taste. the toilets were consistently clean over the hours. the price performance ratio is remarkable. despite small critique on the meat full stars, because the overall package has contributed to a very successful evening and we felt all around well. thanks to the team for this evening."

I've only ever been here for breakfast which is rather decent, good value for the price. I was happy to find a British breakfast here, missing the tomato.. View menu

All I can say is: what is everyone doing coming here for breakfast?! This is an after-work pub. Anyway, once you realise that, then you can also realise...

we were there on the 3rd Sunday afternoon and that was hardly to be visited. beautiful environment, but our eating had not the best quality, the best dish was too oily and the potato dish was not hot and also not freshly taste. the flammpie was the waiter had no eye for us despite the eenigenous guests and we had to go after him. Yesterday after a long time fed back there...not very enthusiastic about the taste-favoured pink, you imagine something different from what was on the teller because the cook should work very hard on it. but what seemed very bad on us was the kellnerokay. when the woman comes out of the industry, it is so difficult to eat outside that they were more critical than others. at touris perhapsaber old hamburger better not

we were in september at silvester. eating was very good taste, which desserts a little lazy. after an inconsistency with the above, the managing director came to us and asked if everything is in order. we explained to her the problem we had with the above. thanks to their intervention everything was quickly regulated and the silvester evening was saved. we would like to thank the director again, although she has always worked on it.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
