"This restaurant was suggested to me .... so I went to check it out.... it is nestled along a narrow street, but there is plenty of parking at the end of the street near a park, then a short walk past a few shops and there you are. My first thoughts on entering were how clean it was! My second thought was that it was also very pretty, namely the tables and the decor. We were greeted by a smiling waitress, if she is there (i forgot her name-but she is absolutely the best waitress in all of Karlsruhe!!..in my humble opinion) and we were led to a table. There were a few other patrons here as well.... on my third visit I noticed that there was a beer garden type area, here it is called an "imhoff"... so next visit we plan to sit outside if we can. On to the food, I have tried several different dishes here, and each time I have said to my wife how good it has been and the portion was of a good size! The quality of this food is simply outstanding! I have been greatly satisfied every time we have been here! I almost hate to write this review as I am a little afraid that others will discover this little diamond and it will become the next great Thai place... but alas.... you must try this restaurant!! Great atmosphere, even better food!!"

we celebrated my mother's birthday in a small round in the Thai orchid. is beautiful that there is a small outdoor area for the summer days. So who wants to eat in the open has this possibility. the food itself was delicious. you notice quite quickly that good Thai cuisine is cooked here and the traders know what they do. the service was in order and nice. there are also various rarer foods on the map, such as Thai sea spinach or Thai sausage salad. is also something for discoverers!

A highly informal restaurant, combined with a small hall of gaming machines and a biergarten in an unremarkable part of Karlsruhe does not get your hopes up high. However, they succeeded to surpass our expectations in every respect. Comfortable furniture, genuine looking decorations, a pleasant service, a nice menu, a small collection of perfectly drinkable wines, a good choice of beer combined with the most important ingredient: solid, traditional Thai cooking with fresh ingredients in generous portions. Genuine tastes with the excellent idea to serve the spicy additions on the side, so that guests can decide for themselves how hot they want their meal to be. Our only quibble: the Thom Yum...
