"Our fieRest meal on Germany was last night. We had plans for somewhere else since this place we thought you had to have a reservation. Well stop 1 was closed so on we went for a walk to another spot. We came across this lovely spot. The atmosphere, waiter, and food for simple fabulous. They had outside seating set up across the street which was lovely. After being in the hot and humid temps if the US this was a welcomed sight to be able to sit outdoors. Food was amazing. Started first with a sampling from the chef of a creamy Carrot soup. Not too creamy at all topped with some green onion, what a great start to the meal. Followed by a quick side salad, then the main course. Our table of 4 had the schnitzel (2), with potatoes, pork cheeks with Spatzel, and whole trout with root veggies. For desert we had the chocolate mouse, and elderflower ice cream. I can't tell you how good everything was and I will be visiting again before we more to our next location. Highly recommended!!!"

First time here. I go along with the consensus of other comments about the quality of the food and service. In fact the service was so well-drilled that it verged on the slick! Recommended for a treat. You need to book well ahead.

We visited with friends, and we can definitely recommend the restaurant. High quality food which was nicely prepared. We sat outside under umbrellas and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. A great place for special occasions or a nice meal.

This was our first German dinner and it did not disappoint. I had the pork cheeks with Spätzle while my husband enjoyed their take on schnitzel. Both were wonderfully prepared with fresh flavors that paired nicely with a recommended Cabernet. A sample of vegetable soup was a delicious opener for a truly exceptional meal. We will try the desserts, which looked exciting on our next visit. Prices are very reasonable for this authentic experience.

My wife and I went to the Reussenstein in order to celebrate our 14th anniversary. As the weather allowed it we sat outside on the terrace which is right across the street, but on the hotel side. The terrace would have much more value if it would be in a back yard or something like that but so it's located right at the street. The dishes we had were just phenomenal as always! We had "roschdbrôôda" (the swabian roast beef) and a "wildbrettle" (compilation of 4 different game meat types). Both were served with traditional swabian "spaetzle" (noodles) that were just awesome. We shared dessert "naschkätzle" which is a compliation of 4 different desserts (chocolate cake, frozen yoghurt, ice-cream bl...

"beautiful restaurant in historical village in the middle of the old town. large outdoor area above the restaurant. large selection of very good cold and warm appetizers. we found the appetizers a bit too lavish, after that it is almost full and leaves little space for the main dishes and that would be a pity. all very dressed. you can also recommend the main dishes (kalbsgulasch in tomate and lammgulasch with peperoni, zwiebel and rice). maybe a little too much oil in the hot pan at the lamb's dish. reasonable selection of weeping, well described in the map and well tempered. so good. the service leaves to be desired. we had already noticed this at the last visit. we had preordered on 19 o'clock and are approx. 19:10 arrived. our table was not yet prepared or covered. After we had our table it took about 20 minutes until we had a menu card and another 10 minutes until we could order drinks. this is certainly going to be more fleeting (even if the chief apologised that is just a holiday time and therefore little personal etc.)..well...the restaurant was well visited and for that one has to plan accordingly. then the appetizers and main dishes came at reasonable intervals as that is. while paying, however, it has again taken 20 minutes, despite multiple demand. also the bill was wrong / too high. but was corrected under further apologies. so as to conclude: eat very well, service still expandable."
