"There were nine of us for my partners birthday, we’ve never been here before but had driven past a few times and thought it looked nice from the outside. Some people within my family didn’t have any problems with their food, but four out of nine did. One family member could only eat part of their dish because the other part wasn’t edible…unfortunately they didn’t say anything at the time. Three members including myself all had the chicken schnitzel. One member had to ask for it to be changed whilst my partner and I ate ours. However, all three of us encountered the same problems which were tough chicken you could hardly cut through, the chicken wasn’t flat as schnitzel should be, and it had a batter type coating rather than crispy breadcrumbs which made it soggy. This meal came with french fries and a supposed rocket salad with parmesan. It in fact looked like a few leaves with a bit of cheese on top. The drinks are extortionate with a Stella or Cider costing £5.60, and an Orange OJ ridiculously high at £3.30. Furthermore, they don’t have a drinks menu so you don’t see the price until the bill arrives. At the end of the meal we were given vouchers for 20% off the food in January and February, needless to say we won’t be using them!"

Went to Ribchester Arms today for lunch with the husband and the food was amazing. We both had chicken Bao buns, I had a fish buttie and he had the stir fry. The fish was beautiful, his stir fry was excellent, staff really friendly and it was topped off by the best of Wham playing! Winner winner

We have rediscovered this amazing resteraunt this year and have visited several times in January. I can only congratulate the new management team for such a great effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The menue is one to suit all and the food coming out of the kitchen is consistantly excellent. View menu

Ordered the sunday roast and what an awfull dissapointment. The vegetables were practically raw, the roast potatoes were obviously warmed up from lunchtime, the beef was not freshly carved either. When i complained (in a civil manner) i got no uderstanding from the server whatsoever so to sum it all up the meal was daylight robbery and i wont be dining there anymore

For dinner, we ate at the restaurant and found the menu to be varied and the food to be tasty. The service was good. Breakfast included cereals, juice, tea or coffee, and a choice of a hot breakfast such as a Ribchester full English or eggs Benedict. There was also an option for fresh fruit and a pastry in the room. Overall, we felt that this B&B was great value and would definitely return again.

After dining at this restaurant for several years, it seems that the establishment is now under new management and definitely has new chefs. Our family recently went for dinner and we were extremely disappointed with the food. The quality was very low, the dishes were bland and lacked seasoning, and the chocolate brownie was almost inedible - hard as a rock and tasted like compacted flour. The staff were friendly but not very attentive to the tables, resulting in long waits between courses. Overall, our children and we were fed up with the experience. View menu

Been coming to this restaurant for years. Well I don't know what has changed in the kitchen but the people cooking are certainly can't classed as chefs. I went for a 3 course Christmas Dinner on the 15 December. It was absolutely disgusting. 1 slice of white meat and underneath was dark brown and certainly was not turkey. The vegetables were disgusting. The whole meal my Family could not eat and we left the whole dinner it was disgusting so was the soup which was cold. I demanded the manager I settled the bar bill and refused to pay for the meals it was that bad. Something I have never done in my life but what they turned out was disgusting. We will never to return. We have always supported...

I recently stayed overnight at the Ribchester Arms and unfortunately, I would not want to go back. Although the room was spacious and had a nice bathroom and a tea tray, there were several issues. The bed was extremely uncomfortable with an old and hard mattress. There was no soundproofing between my room and the next one, and I could hear everything that was being said, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, there were no plugs near the mirror for a hairdryer or straighteners, forcing me to use a compact mirror which was inconvenient. Breakfast was served late at 8.30 am, and I had to request an earlier service, which was eventually accommodated, but I found it unnecessary to have to a...

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
