"Arrived for our 7pm reservation only to find out that restaurant doesn’t open til 7:30. We aren’t Italian, so we were the first to arrive for supper. Perhaps we were just too early, so staff wasn’t ready to serve customers? Ordered mixed fried seafood as appetizer with salad. Salad amazing. Shrimp and fish were okay but calamari was inedible. Too tough to eat. My husband’s steak was fine. My cacio e Pepe was not edible. Manager immediately apologized and offered me another dish. For a non Italian, it surprised me that a pasta could be so bad in Italy. It was just a clump of warm pasta all stuck together. Almost as if it was old, sitting around and reheated. And too salty to eat. My plate was replaced by a 3 cheese pasta which was okay. The servers were polite. No piano played. Ambiance was better when we left at 21:00, again perhaps we were too early."
